Not what it looks like.

Would not stay here even one night. So close together you can see inside the RV next to you. Not much grass on your site, gravel and dirt. There's a lake here? Don't see it.

Nice campground minutes from Louisville, KY

Great campground located just over the river from Louisville, KY. Really nice camp host (John). There was a wonderful view of a pond and it looked as if he was separately owned but still nice view. Not sure what the reviews mean about small, noisy and rude things. We had our 31’ Fifth wheel in a nice spot. We have a min schnauzer which they did allow. They allow dogs that are less than 30lbs. Nice laundry room with a book/ magazine exchange. Yes the internet is very slow but we were only at our site in the evening as we were sightseeing during the day. Oh and yes the moweres came by about 730am and promptly mowed over my rv rug. Camp host was really nice about it and paid me right away for it. We don’t have cable but with our rv antenna we were able to pick up about 25 channels no problem. Campground It is very convenient to restaurants and shopping including a Walmart, Longhorn Steakhouse, Best Buy and for you crafters a Joann’s and Michaels among other popular venues. We’d definitely stay here again. Oh and they don’t accept credit cards so have cash or a checkbook. Not a downside, just making a note.

What they say is not what you get.
By user-6515821... on 2017-10-23.
The spaces are crowded to where you can't put out window awnings much less a patio awning to have a place to sit outside. They use two back in spaces to make a pull thru but your side to side space is limited.
Numerous construction workers are luving here as full time residents. I met a couple and they were really nice. Everyone seemed friendly and waiver or nodded.
For one or two nights traveling through it will do but it ain't that great to stay longer.

Horrible!!!
By user-5836877... on 2017-10-23.
Noisiest campground! I hope you don't like sleep! 5:30 am every diesel truck is running.. 7:00 the lawn crew is mowing their rocks.. And shooting them at your RV!!!!

The Worst Hostess Ever
By user-6271393... on 2017-10-23.
Will not listen to anything anyone says... Will not allow rigs older than 1990 in their park. I have been there, this place is RUN DOWN to the ground. NO access to the lakes you see pictures in the ad. Avoid like the Plague. This place is a Joke!!!

Says they allow pets but do not. Will not let any older models in. Very persnickety.

Stayed 2017-07-28 to 2017-07-31
Fishing was great. Site was level. Carol was friendly and escorted us to our site. Within 10 miles or less of everything we wanted to see in Louisville, KY. Didn't use laundry or restrooms so can't comment on that. Less than 2 miles to super Walmart and close to other restaurants, stores etc.
Downside: sites are very narrow. They are awning to slide of each other. Must have been built before there were slides on campers. Not for kids. No cable or internet. No pool or playground.
Would stay here again because of its location. Stayed in a 35' motorhome with 2 slides.

Got hung up on!!
By user-5227432... on 2017-10-23.
We didn't stay or go here but we called for possible reservations and when we told the lady we did have two dogs, she asked what size and we said they are 60-70 lbs, she said "we don't take dogs that size" and hung up! Then don't advertise that you allow pets!

Nice Campground
By user-5683610... on 2018-05-17.
I would highly recommend this camp ground. Very friendly people. The host is very responsive when needing. The site is kept clean and quiet. A beautiful lake for a view and close to a lot of shopping.

Horrible slum
By user-4888300... on 2018-07-06.
Park is so crappy and they change rules constantly. Sites are so close together you can knock on your neighbors door without leaving your rv. Full of old rundown rigs. Owner does not maintain property except for his entrance sign. Owner buys cheap gravel with mostly dust which will coat your rig and windshield with a clay/glue like substance which is almost impossible to remove. Most of the tenants are monthly with temp construction jobs. Rules regarding dogs are constantly changing. Unpleasant staff. Not enough laundry/shower/garbage capacity for the numbers in the park. Nothing for children. I could go on for another page. Stay away if you are looking for a decent campground
