We stopped here for a couple nights, full hook ups which was nice especially since it's been freezing. There were 5 RVs across from us but it looked like they were just being stored and one neighbor beside us. It was a nice quiet park. No frills but just what we needed for the two nights we were here. Park manager only accepts cash so if you're paying with debit you need to pay at the front building. It's also gated which is nice. We would stay here again.

Great place, full hook ups but no frills. The people are fantastic and laid back, just go find a site and pay them on the way out. Bathroom /shower is 'rustic' but usable. DO NOT park under the trees as the ants tend to drop down and settle in! We'll be back again!

This is a nice place to stay and should definitely be considered for an over night stop or to ride out a storm. Don't let the "first come first served" scare you. They have plenty of sites. Bathroom is rustic. We would stop here again.

Very unimpressed. Said wifi. Doesn't work. Showers and restrooms dirty. Shower covered in bugs. Over 100 spots but only 4 RVs here. I can see why!

This place is surprising - inexpensive, vert quiet, with loads of room. We used a pull-thru site for our 36' class A plus 4-down toad. Our site had just water and 50 amp electric which was all we needed for one nite. Other sites had sewer too. NOTE: strongly recommend arriving in daylight hours because park is poorly marked with little light. Luckily a long-term camper came out to help us find a site when we arrived well after dark. Paid by check on the way out in the AM. No closed of locked gates. Some sites are gravel, many are grass. Ants were no problem - when walking our dogs we noticed many fire anthills in the fields. This is very typical in the South! (We're from FL) If we were staying long-term, we'd take precautions and spray around our coach if needed (and we wouldn't park on any anthills!)

Pleasant surprise in Macon, Ga. Al Sirah Shrine RV Park, 105 RV spots. Secure, quiet, easy on/off access from Interstate 75. FHU 30/50 spots and electric/H2O at the rest. Back-ins or Pull throughs, pond view, plenty of room. Good pressure. Passport rate is $20. Safe. Gunplay or crime is not a factor (like the other side of Macon) Best, all of the proceeds go to help the kids in the Shriner's Hospitals. Arrive after hours? Hit the gate button and go find a spot. Settle in the morning. Shriners creating a park map and a method for maintaining track of open spots for late arrivals would be great. Payment dropbox would also be nice....

Absolutely stunning landscape. Extremely friendly and helpful welcome with our 36ft 5th wheel and two large dogs. WiFi didn’t reach to our spot, but we weren’t here to browse the web. Easy access off of I75

Extraordinary place for a stopover! Welcoming, helpful crew and beautiful, wide-open views. If you’re not looking for resort-style amenities you can’t find a better place to stay in your RV. If we ever find ourselves back in the area we will definitely stay again. Great people!

We stayed here 1 night. It is located behind the Shriners hall just off of I16. NO noIse from the interstate traffIc. Great big wide open space. Sites are fairly level, all with full hook up. Most have 50 amp. Beautiful pond with free fishing. Several pavilions too. Camp host was a pleasure to speak with on the phone. Would have loved to have met him and his wife. Roll Tide!

Don't believe the RVParky app or customer reviews. We found it without any trouble even though it is Al Sihah Shrine RV Park instead of Shriners. Ok, but when we pulled up, tjere was no one there so my husband took an envelope which had $40 per night instead of $20. A guy came up in a cart and we asked if we could get a site in the shade. Turned out the only shady site that had full hookups was right up front by the activities building - noise factor. It is a pretty spot with a nice pond and a gazebo and picnic table by it. There are no tables, fire pits or barbarcues at the sites. I don't think there is room, they are so close together. For $40 a night, I would expect these things and either Wi-Fi or TV. This is way

$20 a night, big open field, full hook up, no services. Avoid when raining.

As much as I hesitate to criticize a charitable organization I believe this particular enity is deserving of the lowest possible rating. First of all it is not easy to get to even though it can be seen from I-75 some distance away. When we finally got there we found no one around the "office" which consisted of an older mobile home with a scary looking deck to walk on. There was a note on the door stating that Passport America members would only receive a 25% discount vs. the usual 50%. When the guy finally came he wanted $30 (and no paperwork) and said to "go on down there" and find any spot in one of several areas and make sure it has 50A. Now I am pulling a 40ft 5th wheel all over a large unmarked area on virtually nothing more than very dusty little cow paths. When I saw some electrical boxes I would have to park and go check for 50A. I found 3 on lots so unlevel my auto leveling system said "you're kidding". And of those 3 all had services on the opposite side of where needed. All this happening in record breaking 100° temps. I might add that of the few scattered campers there, most, if not all, were long term or permanent. After trying very hard for an hour to make it work we finally went back to the check in place and asked for our money back. He wasn't happy about it but did give us our money back. Needless to say I recommend avoidance.
