We stopped here for one night while traveling on IH-10. It is far enough from the highway that you escape the noise. Everything worked fine, including the Wi-Fi at our site. We camped in a 5-th wheel.

Ok place. Very accessible to Lafayette and the family we were visiting. Unfortunately it was really sloppy because of the rain. That was the most disappointing aspect. Pads were some gravel, but mostly for the wheels of the coach. Only grass (mostly soggy or muddy that weekend -lots of rain)so no good area for a mat to sit out or to BBQ. Site was pretty narrow and I felt like we were right in the hookups of the neighboring RV. Pull through was fine and long enough for our coach and towed PU. Road (last 1.5 miles) to the park is narrow, winding and in need of repaving. Nothing the owners can do but just be alert. Overall it would have been better if the site was not constantly soggy and muddy and drained better. Owners were very nice and did a little fireworks show for the night of July 4th. That was nice.

0 for 2 trying to find a campground that will let me stay with my conversion trailer. I have used this trailer in multiple campgrounds all over the country. I never thought I would run into this problem in Louisiana. Again, if you do not have a regular rv, don't even try. They won't even let you in the gate.
