Very friendly
By user-6288025... on 2017-10-23.
We felt safe, they have very nice shower facilities, the couple that own it (Mark and Kay) were very welcoming. Even though we were in the overflow, it was still a decent spot...just thought the price should have been reduced as we were in overflow.

Close to Town

We stayed in a 38' motor home with KOA discount for $39. We stayed in front of park in transient section because of many pipe line workers in Bismark. We had 30amp, water and cable.
Bismark is the capital of North Dakota and there is a wonderful Dakota Heritage Center next to the state capital building. This is a GREAT museum. We could have spent 2 days in the museum. Next time we travel I 90 we will stay longer in Bismark and the KOA.

Great campground for passing through
By user-5344946... on 2017-10-23.
On our way through North Dakota from Glacier NP, pulling a travel trailer we made a stop here. Mark, the owner, could not have more helpful and accommodating. Although the campground was full, he put us in a tent spot, helped us back in, and gave us a discount b/c we were in a tent spot. The spots were shaded and level. The bathrooms and showers were clean. I would highly recommend stopping here if you're passing though North Dakota.

Good but not great KOA....

A bit dusty on road but our spot was level and shaded. Utilities all worked well and the pool was cool which was great as weather was hot. Good to have reservation as they were very busy. Had many coaches parked out in an open lot along entrance drive to the left with no shade. I am assuming this is an overflow spot for drop ins because I would be really upset to actually be put in that location with a reservation. Zero trees and would be hard to level so ask when calling. As KOA's go this one was OK. Always a gamble as they vary so much

Great campground for an overnight stay
By user-5182838... on 2017-10-23.
Convenient to I-94 and services; campground also offers discount coupons for local services, including fuel, so wait to fuel up after you register. Nice grassy sites with shade and landscaping between sites. Level gravel sites with good hookups. Wifi works great. No cable. Our only criticism is that while bathroom is nice and clean, bathroom facilities are limited given size of campground and number of sites to service. We stayed in pull thru, FHU, 50 amp site for $44 after KOA Value Kard discount.

High Price
By user-6261094... on 2017-10-23.
Price: $41.90 day w/KOA membership.
Pros:
Good location, clean bathrooms, pull-thru sites with picnic table.
Cons:
Even with KOA membership price was very high considering we're in North Dakota! My site was called deluxe. I asked what did that mean and was told easy to pull your RV into! Shouldn't that be all sites. Depending on site not all satellite friendly. No cable, some over the air stations :-/

Good campground for a quick stay
By user-5673970... on 2017-10-23.
We stayed while passing through. Staff was very nice and helpful. They were full, but got me on a 20 amp site which worked great for the quick night stay. Kids enjoyed the pool. Minus one star because everything was just a bit cramped and we had to share electricity hookup with our neighbor.

Quiet park even though almost full. Good spacing between sites, trees, level pads, good WiFi, no cable. Friendly, helpful staff.

Well maintained and clean KOA with excellent WiFi and easy access to the Interstate. Very helpful and nice owner. Lots of tall shade trees and bushes between sites, so very private. We stayed just one night but nice enough to stay longer. Choose a site away from Centennial road if road noise bothers you.

We drive a big rig (40 ) with a trailer. I called the same day as we were passing through and they accommodated us. Staff assured us that they would assist if we had any issues pulling in or out. Lovely, tree lined, level lots. Great water pressure and 50amp breaker. I will definitely return if I m passing through!
