We are a couple with no kids and wanted a peaceful night. We got that. Just lovely. Right on the water. Walking paths. Pool. But mostly we wanted water front peaceful evening. Site had full hookups. Even cable. Good Verizon connection. Will be back. Easy off 95 for 37 foot rig. Site easy to park. There are also pull thru too. Good price!

Clean and beautiful location. Stayed a week and had no internet except at office. Would have been nice if they had offered financial compensation for the lack of this important service. We were charged the highest price advertised.

This is a new and well kept campground. Ample space between sites, cement patio, nice picnic tables (sturdy and new), leveled sites, cable, and easy hook ups. Very friendly staff, nice, clean pool. All sites are ver spacious. It's quiet and very clean. They pick up your trash at the curve. Nice fire rings. All and all a very nice place to stay.

Headed home from Virginia on Fourth of July weekend. Decided to stop and enjoy fire works in Savannah. Thank goodness we found Camp Lake Jasper. Very nice park! Our site was shaded, gravel and level. Showers and laundry very clean. Pool was clean and cool. Friendly staff. 20 minutes from Hilton Head and Savannah. Would defiantly stay again!

We stayed one night on our way home from Florida. This is a wonderful RV Park. Very clean, nice size sites, 76 channels of cable, fire ring, did I say very clean ? It is very well maintained. The staff were very friendly. The entire park, buildings and grounds were so clean. 5 stars plus!!! We will be back for a longer stay

This place is clean, friendly and has everything you need. Spots are wide and very well maintained. Love this place
By user-6449734... on 2017-10-23.
Just off the highway but also quiet. Half way between Hilton Head and Savannah so we could easily go to both. The roads are paved which is nice but the curb makes it a bit difficult. We had to have a back-in site and it was uphill and not level. Also, no gravel, just dirt so it got very muddy when it rained. Some other sites are level and have gravel. Nice pool and clean bathrooms. Adjacent park is nice to walk through. Small lake/pond. The ladies in the office were rude and not too friendly. Wifi went out a lot and when it did work it was rather weak. Fairly new park. (4 years old.)
By user-5579193... on 2017-10-23.
This is a relatively new park, about 2 years, yet is very well maintained. The best part is everything they advertise is there and works, like wifi. It is a Good Sam club with our price being $32.20. If there were 6 stars they would earn it.

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds I've ever been. So clean and right on the water. We stayed two nights. Nice and quiet except for the train, but it doesn't keep you up. I would like to see them build a play ground. My boys would have loved one. The Internet is very slow. We will stay here again. On our way out we got breakfast at Casa Burrito Mexican Grill in Hardeeville,SC. It was AMAZING! I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was a great find on our way to Florida. Only stayed for a quick overnight, but it was easy to get to and from route 95. We arrived after hours and left before the office opened but we were able to get a level pull thru site. It was clean, quite and everything looked new. It's in a beautiful spot right on a lake. Would definitely stay here again.

We came across Camp Lake Jasper due to my tow vehicle breaking down on the interstate. My travel trailer is 35 feet long and the tow truck used was a semi truck wrecker. The wrecker had plenty of room to pull my truck and travel trailer into the pull thru site. In the morning we met the camp hostess, Janet who was so kind and gracious. Janet's kindness assured us in getting much needed supplies. This campground has awesome a amenities and had very clean wash house, laundry, pool and much much more. This has become one of our favorites and we will be back. Once again, thank you so much Janet for being a grade A person.

Camp Lake Jasper was outstanding! It was the perfect location to visit both Hilton Head and Savannah. The park was beautiful, very clean, easy hooks ups, great amenities, etc. We didn't want to leave. This was our last campground on our 6,000 mile trip and was by far our favorite!

We were looking for a new place to stop for a night between Florida and Virginia. The lady who answered the phone was so pleasant to talk to. The office was open till 7, and the park is immaculate. Large sites, very clean and well maintains. We will be back!

This is a very nice Campground. Very clean and neat and very organized. Wish the pad was paved. Had a great paved patio. Great dog park. Not much shade but close do a lot of amenities. Plan to go back for more days.

This is our 2nd stay here. We love the quietness and beauty of this park. We have stayed both times at site 39 because of the closeness to the lake as well as the covered gazebo. Great spot for morning coffee. We will definitely be back on our next jaunt from NH to Fla. Highly recommend this park.

Close to 95. I understand that this was started as condos and ended up as a RV Resort. Very nice start to a beautiful place. Nice quiet area, nice lake area, clean bathhouse and laundry. Nice pool that over looks the lake. The only improvement I would recommend would be to pave the interior roads and sites. Almost forgot the wifi is not good.

We spent four nights at Camp Lake Jasper in November. The campground, although somewhat remote, is laid out nicely and is extremely well maintained. We had a very long and very wide pull-through site. The wifi was good and we had no trouble setting satellite reception. The campground is conveniently located, about 20 miles from Hilton Head and 20 miles from Savannah. We would definitely stay there again.
By user-4574652... on 2017-10-23.
Seems like fairly new RV place, needed more trees, internet on and off. Small lake with fishing with a couple alligators. Good place for overnight but we had signed up for 8 nights and left early. We and our neighbor had an incident where our black/gray tank valves where shut while we were both gone for the day and when we told the girl in the office she was not concerned said it must just be kids pulling a prank. This could have caused great deal of damage so we left.

Decided to make stopover on our way back to Florida. First time staying here and have to say it is really nice RV park. Sites are wide and roads are mostly paved and everything is kept neat and clean. Second time here in Hilton head, and will have to stay here when I plan my next extended trip.
By user-5846847... on 2018-03-14.
We have overnighted here twice on our travels to Florida. We stayed in site that backed up to the lake and we were very happy with it. A clean park, with friendly staff and campers. Love looking for gators in the lake, but they remain shy. The pool looks nice and the restrooms were clean. Added bonus: Casa Burritto in Joker Joes gas station before you turn to get to the campground. Really good, fresh tacos and burrittos. Stayed March and November 2017.
By user-6100383... on 2018-03-14.
We stayed here in October 2017 hoping for a quiet park, not so. Frequent train traffic at night and during the day. Not all sites are level, on some you park on sand making it tough to level your coach. We probably will not visit this park again.

This park is exactly as advertised. It is clean, quiet, very reasonably priced and well located. The staff is very friendly. The hiking trails and picnic areas were a huge plus for us. There is a train nearby, but it is barely noticeable. The only fault I could find is the lack of a recycling facility. When we are on the road we use a lot of recyclable containers. We will definitely stay here again.

Hi, traveled here from Raleigh to meet my brother and his wife who came up from Jacksonville Florida. We are having a fine time. The RV Park is well maintained and we will certainly stay here again if we have the opportunity. Its about 30 min from either Savannah and Hilton Head Island. Great location and a good time

Stayed 3 nites as we go north. Very spacious sites of sand w/ concrete patios. Ours was pretty level. Great water pressure and WiFi. Our cable hookup was terrible and they were going to look into it. 50 amp full hookup is well laid out. Highly recommend.

Easily accessible from the interstate for our 37 foot MH with a towed. Clean facilities: pool, laundry, and restrooms. They also had canoes and kayaks to rent for the lake. Mostly level spaces well spaced. Utilities were well placed. Close to Hilton Head Island and not too far for a day trip to Savanah. Would stay here again.
By user-6567373... on 2018-05-17.
We stayed one night, good stopover site. All the amenities plenty of room. Nice showers pool etc. Only drawback is mud. Good WiFi, lousy cable, lots of stations but all analog, grainy fuzzy pic. They need to add gravel to a lot of the sites. Will come back again next time through. Hopefully when there is no rain!
By user-5826052... on 2018-05-17.
We stayed here for 3 nights.Nice park, fairly new it's like a work in progress. The roads are all paved but the sites are packed sand. FHU, picnic tables are plastic with lots of broken plastic edges. The bath rooms are clean but the floors show lots of wear. They are working on the Laundry room, and the WiFi was slow at times. It's a great home base to visit the area. I would go back again.

While it is a decent campground and has quiet hours, they let someone check in at 2AM! It was a large bus conversion with a noisy diesel engine. It ruined our nights sleep and made for a tough drive the next day.

3/10/2019 Update. We returned and stayed for a week this time. It s not often we stay at the same campground a second time, but this one was convenient to our exploration and since we had stayed here once before, we knew what to expect. In addition to my comments below, the laundry was very nice with several machines, also they took either quarters or CC s to operate. No propane service at the campground, but for removable bottles, you can re-fill at Tractor Supply. There is a nice dock area for launching your kayak on the water and a sign stating that alligators live here . Our T-Mobile signal only had 2/3 bars, and so we had challenges with the speed of our Hot Spot, but the Wi-Fi was actually pretty good, only slowed at night. This is a gated park as well, and we got a phone call to let us know when our package arrived. Previous review, on 12/30/2018 we stayed two nights on our migration south. It s a nice RV park with both pull-thru and back-in sites. All sites have a cement pad for the picnic table and a fire ring. And most sites are dirt with some covered in pea stone (which is a bad choice since it won t pack like crushed stone). And so, most sites including ours was muddy. FHU plus cable TV were fine. There is a lake which is part of the State Park, but backs up to the campground. They have a small heated pool as well, which I didn t use (too cold). Very quiet park, no road noise even though we re very close to I-95. A little train noise but not bothersome. The cost was high in my view. We paid $55.00/night (less a 10% discount for AAA) and they also offer Good Sam and Military discounts. Overall and nice park, good for both the Snowbird and for a family vacation. I would stay again.

Enjoyed our week long stay at Lake Jasper. Very clean and accommodating place. They have the nicest host, Jerry. He s on top of everything! Will definitely go back!

We stayed for two weeks enroute to Florida in January 2019. Nice, except for the mud when it rained. They were adding more gravel to many of the sites when we left. Nice gals in the office and Jerry the Camp Host is a very nice man and interesting to talk to (he lives across from where our site was). Very clean laundry room. Pool looked very nice but was closed (I believe the sign said it would open in March). Tried calling to make reservations for January 2020 and sadly no call back, guess I ll wait late to later this year to call and make reservations.

Great place to stop off of 95. The kids got to swim in the clean pool and get some energy out. The lakeside campsites looked very pretty but we were only there as overnight stop. We would definitely stop again.

We stopped for the night on our way north on 95. It's a few miles off of the highway but what a beautiful peaceful place! No traffic noise! Beautiful setting and everything looks very clean and well kept. It didn't rain while we were there so we had no problem with mud as in other reviews.

About a mile off I95, quiet, good pull thru sites and full hook ups. Excellent laundry facilities, nice pool and walking path along a small lake. Appears to be fairly new and due to that pull thru sites have no shade . Back-in sites are along lake or treed area so little more shade and privacy. Wash house was clean and well maintained but was not air conditioned and in the heat this week (95+) showering there was not an option for us (5 stars if bathhouse had been cool enough to use showers).

Very impressed by quality, location, and Al facilities. Appears to be fairly new par. Very convenient to I-95 and easy access to Savannah and Hilton Head. We will return.

This place is fantastic! Stayed for 3 weeks and absolutely loved it. Beautiful campground with wide sites, decent WiFi, cable TV. Laundry and showers are clean and easily accessible. Camp store has basic amenities- firewood and propane exchange. The lake is beautiful and filled with fish to catch off the picturesque covered dock. Will definitely be back!
