August 2017 This park is a really nice place to stay in Riviere- du- Loup, friendly staff at check-in and a guide to lead you to your spot. Good clean modern restrooms and small laundry. Level FHU site on gravel with lawn, picnic table and fire ring, some shade. Small shop at front office, free coffee each morning at office. Situated right in town close to restaurants and bars. We paid $39 Canadian for back in site.
Stayed only one night. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. About half are full time campers for the summer. People passing through are put in the front where they have pull throughs with full service. Close to the ferry that goes across the St Lawerence River.
We stayed three days. I had to disengage the dolly and car in order to pull into our pull through site. I guess they do not know what pull through site means. The site I was on was level enough that I did not have to put any pads under the tires. I had a 30AMP site - there are only five 50AMP sites. Thank goodness it was not hot days. I had to park the dolly alongside the motorhome and the car diagonally in front. Very, very small site. My awning was only 1 foot from my neighbors slideout. Very very small sites. The water pressure was average. The entrance to the sewer is about 6 inches above the ground. I guess they do not know that sewer needs to run downhill. I had to elevate the sewer hose in order to get a proper flow. Driving around the campground to get to the site or to leave is very tight with a big rig motorhome. The campground advertises WiFi - what a joke. All the TV stations are FRENCH only. No cable. This is a one and done campground.
