A little pricey for gravel pads but the people were really nice. The laundry facility worked well.

Another Outstanding Stay

This must have been our 5th or 6th stay with Kevin and Shirley at the Canyon Motel and RV Park....whether it's in a motel room or an RV site, it's all been good! For a classic Route 66 motel, I'm impressed with the rooms! We've stayed in the caboose once...fantastic experience in the converted caboose to a suite...lots of room, and a full bath too! Cable and WiFi through the facility. A beautiful bath/laundry/meeting building between the motel and RV park...very convenient! We had our travel trailer there in late June and early July...nice spot, full hook ups. Great jumping off spot for trips to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, downtown Williams, etc. We'll be back!

Great Place

My husband and I stayed here for a week. It was clean and we felt safe. They management paid attention to unregistered guests come no in and out. They took pride in the safety of their campers. They had a clean laundry room reasonably priced, clean bathrooms and showers.
We originally were scheduled to stay three nights but place was so nice we stayed an additional four nights. Would stay again.

We visited the Grand Canyon from here as well as points on Route 66. The Canyon Motel and RV Park is very clean and the hosts are friendly. Passport America was honored too. The laundry and bathrooms were very clean. We would stay again!

Mixed feelings
By user-5800473... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2017-09-04 to 2017-09-12
I'd liked The location as far as being just on the outskirts of town which was probably only a mile and a half away , however the train was nonstop hard to get a good nights sleep for light sleepers. Definitely recommend Bearizona which was a mile away as well and the Deerfarm a few miles up route 40. Most of the staff was friendly however there was one woman in the office not so pleasant. The sites are plenty long and wide though shouldn't have any problems parking multiple vehicles. The Wi-Fi was good.

We pulled in late ,it was easy access to our RV site and motel room. The motel room was historic and very clean! We enjoyed our stay very much!! We will stop here again! We also had a problem with our RV and the I 40 Fleet Services came to our campground and made the repair for us.

Premium site not worth price. Very dusty and full price for off season.

nice!!
By user-4671497... on 2018-03-14.
The staff are friendly and smiling is very nice.
Facilities were also beautiful, there were play equipment such as swings.
A coin launderette can be used during the night.
The track is near and you can hear the whistle sound, but that is also a nice atmosphere. (Translated from Japanese)

Second Time

Stayed 2018-10-23 to 2018-10-28
This was our second stay here on our way South for the winter. If your into the old Rt. 66 Era this is a must stop for you in Williams. The park is also located 50 miles South of the Grand Canyon. The park is close to I-40 and two miles from Williams. Good FHU pull-thru's and plenty of open sites this time of year. Bearzonia is an animal park just up the road and would highly recommend it to take your kids. You will hear trains here at times.

Route 66 Themed

Stayed 2019-04-12 to 2019-04-13
Nice park, 2 pages of rules and regulations. No dog area. Laundry room was creepy because of video surveillance. We stopped to buy ice on the way out and my husband parked in the fire lane which was next to the ice machine while I went in the store to pay. The clerk had him move before she sold me the ice that was kept in a freezer inside. Much to do over nothing. Pro - nice little town of Williams and not far from the grand canyon.

Yes, Yes, Yes
By user-4721537... on 2019-08-09.
We have 3 criteria for selecting an RV Park.
Location, cleanliness & pricing. This park met all of those and much more.
The staff was exceptional. From the front desk ladies to the young man who worked the grounds and the pool. Everyone was kind and helpful.
Would stay here again and again.

Home in Williams for a week

Stayed 2019-05-19 to 2019-05-25
Nice park, easy to locate and perfectly positioned for our planned trips (Seligman, Sedona and Grand Canyon). The facilities are good and well maintained. Interesting little operation by owner who cares. Will definitely stay here again should the Road bring us this way. Recommend

Great Route 66 stay!

Stayed 2019-05-23 to 2019-05-24
We loved our stay at Canyon Motel & RV Park. We stayed in one of the train car rooms so I don't know much about the RV sites, but our room was great and so much fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very convenient to downtown Williams and a quick trip from there to the Grand Canyon. I'd highly recommend it!

Great RV Stop
By user-5861797... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-07-28 to 2019-07-31
Level and all gravel, FHU. Our site had hook ups clear at back so needed 40 of sewer hose. We appreciated the no pets rule in the store, office, and pool area. Pool was very old and in a building. Staff was way above average when it came to being friendly and helpful. We stayed here in a 43 motor home pulling 24 trailer. Our pull thru site fit our 73 length as promised. We will stay here again unless the $45 price goes up.
