Near the strip.
By user-6285120... on 2017-10-23.
Not a KOA anymore, but whats in a name???
A city RV park; like a parkinglot with asfalt. But there are also trees and some gras/flowers. Not too bad for a city RVpark! Staff is friendly, our spot for a 25ft RV was fine. Showers were clean and spacious. The spot next to hotel Circus Circus, near the strip and bus is very convenient! We didn't have any problem with connecting whatever, it fitted perfectly.

Circus Circus closes KOA

Very bad news from the KOA Circus Circus folks. This park is scheduled to close 9/30/14. No word on what will happen with the property but KOA is searching out a new location in the Vegas area.
What a shame. My favorite RV park in Vegas due entirely to its location. Too expensive and too much asphalt, but the only place we stay when we are in town.
Maybe it's only KOA having to go away and Circus Circus will take over the management again but with the renewed growth going on here in Vegas I fear that it's the end for camping on the "strip".

OK, so you're not going to get a garden spot here, but it's on the strip and reasonably priced. Web site is unclear on this point, but price of ~$38/day includes full hookups and a resort fee is *not* charged at the RV park. It does mean that you're in the RV park pool (a simple little affair) and not the super-whamo-dyne water park of the hotel, but that's OK. Not actually that noisy, either, considering you're in the middle of Vegas of all places - the only noise is the tour helicopters going overhead, which quit around sleeping hours.
Worst feature: the wifi. It was, quite literally, slower than dialup. They'd be better off not having any at all.

New years eve 2014-15
By user-5509643... on 2017-10-23.
This was our first time here. Staff was nice and friendly. All concrete, only some spaces had picnic tables. Actually called RV Manor. They have mediocre security patrol. A lil convenience store. Bathroom and showers clean. Most all spots are pull through. Our 35 footer fit pretty comfortably. Although it is pretty much on the strip lil bit of a walk to get on strip.

KOA Las Vegas is now at Sam's Town on Boulder-Not so good!
By user-4731739... on 2017-10-23.

KOA Las Vegas is no longer at Circus Circus. It has moved to Sam’s Town on Boulder Highway, Las Vegas. The Circus-Circus RV Park will be developped as an arena for concerts, etc. As of 10-22-14 the KOA signs are up at Sam's Town, the staff in the front office are KOA and the rates have been increased to KOA levels (Sam’s Town rates were a little less).
The good:
*The staff members are all very polite and helpful. The process seems organized if you have reservations.
*The park is very clean
*Very near the Sam’s Town casino which has several eating establishments, a bowling alley, a theater and a reasonably priced buffet.
*Nice asphalt driveways with decomposed granite sites. As long as it isn’t raining this is perfect. It would be hard to get into trouble maneuvering into your site here because the driveways are wide and the angles of the sites are right for large RVs.
*Boulder Highway and nearby Henderson have virtually every shopping necessity and RV parts/repair service you could ever need. Everything is close… Costco, Walmart, Camping World, etc. The Vegas strip is about 4 or 5 miles away.
The Bad:
*The sewer hookups in this park are downright WRONG!!!! It is nasty... trust me! Slide up a door on the hookup pedestal and drop the end of your hose into a large chute alongside the neighboring sewer hose. If their hose is higher than your hose, guess what… you have their sewage on your drain hose when you pull it out of the drain “door”. There is a constant sewer gas smell in your RV and throughout the park because there is no way to seal up the connection from the sewer hoses. I’m not sure why this is OK with the health dept because they post all over the park rules about how strictly the county enforces sewer hose rules! If you are sensitive to “smells” this may not be the place for you.
*Many of the spaces are narrow. If you have slides on your RV you will have about 36 inches extra to sit outside of your RV. Be sure to ask for a site that is wide enough if you have slides on both sides.
*This isn’t a kid friendly RV park. No playgrounds or grass areas (except where the pets do their thing). Then again, this is Vegas, where it is mostly adult play.
Summary: This isn’t a bad RV park. It is quiet, clean and has so many nearby facilities. There are cheaper RV parks nearby but it is hard to beat this as far as an easy place to be. Fix the sewers and keep the rates reasonable and you have a 5.

Very nice
By user-5809539... on 2017-10-23.
For a city camp ground it is very good. Wi-fi did not work (because of the wind...they said). But its near the strip. You can walk there easily. The pool is awesome (one is hot water). Stor is good. Toilets and shower are good. So all in all i can recommand it. It was quaid too.

A lot of space available. Clean shower and restrooms. Quick and professional acting at the front desk. So far so good! But is it safe as well?

Location

4 stars for location when compared to other options in LV. basically a big parking lot but it does have a nice store, decent pool and the usual amenities. If this were off the strip it would get a 2 or 3 star rating. We camped in a TC.

I don't understand people complaining about this place. It's clean, it's right in the middle of the city which is in the needle of the desert so of course there are no tress and no lawn.
It isn't particularly noisy. Considering the location I think it's really quiet.
You can walk anywhere, price is very affordable $38, you have a pool, a playground, a great dog park and all the Las Vegas craziness around. The only thing that sucks is the terrible wifi

Prime location in Vegas

Old RV park well located 1/4 mile from the Strip. All paved and not much shade. Restrooms, showers not very up to date - and simply to little capacity for all guests. WIFI is very unstable (not working) which was a surprise. However, you are in the middle of all the excitement of Vegas, that brought you here in the first place!

Rated based on convenience
By user-5907633... on 2017-10-23.
Kind of a dump. Well Circus Circus isn't really a top tier casino anyway though owned by MGM. They still charge a resort fee on top of the normal RV overnight fee. What do you get? Wifi is nonexistent. The grounds are filthy and it's just a glorified parking lot - but it is conveniently near the strip. Pool hours a horrible, especially for Las Vegas. It closes at 7. I would not discourage staying here, just know you are paying for convenience only. Sad because MGM could really capitalize on this.

Friendly staff, no cold water in the shower it would have been nice after the 115° day. 4 day stay men's bathroom closed the entire time. Easy accessibility to strip, big black parking lot hot hot hot.

Do not stay here if you have ANYTHING that can be stolen, whether its locked up or not. Security is just a front I believe, very unhelpful. They supposedly have cameras but you need a court order to see them or a report that they take when you report. I was told by security thatthey would file a report which they didn't.

Accepts older rigs...

Heard many reports that this site only accepted newer rigs. My rig is 25 years old and I had 0 issues. This site did not even ask about the age or my rig.
I brought up the older rig issues, they stated that they only cared that your RV would not burn down while on site. Anything in good enough shape to get here and stay would be welcomed.

It might just be a parking lot but for $35 a night on the strip isn’t bad at all! They had security guards on bikes all night, they accepted older rigs which is nice since ours is an 1985, also the dark park was perfect for outlet two huskies! Had water and electric hookups.

Good place, $35 per Night. Near from strip. If you Will arrive at Night, you need to Go until Circus hotel check in to book RV parking.

Platz ist nicht sicher
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

The RV Resort is located in the back of the circus circus. It is clean and has full hock-up. If you reserve online, it shows that you need to pay also the resort fee, but they won't charge you the fee. The just have a new IT for the complete hotel and it has this bug.

Der Campingplatz ist eher ein Parkplatz.
Man darf nicht viel erwarten, dafür ist man sehr zentral und es gibt einen kleinen Pool.
