We stayed here 3 nights to take in the St. Augustine area. It is handy to the downtown - about 5 miles. The sites are wooded with large Oaks. Staff was nice. Only downside was that Wi-Fi didn't work properly. We camped in a 5-th wheel.

Park has a new name: Compass RV Park

nicely laid out with lots of natural areas. plenty of dog walking space.older but nice bath houses and near activities

We have stayed here before. It was pleasant, folks were nice, but it needed updating. The new owners have done a wonderful job of providing all the conveniences you could want with more to come! The best part is they have left the natural beauty and even spruced that up too! We will be back! I'd give it 5 stars but they're not through yet!

Glad we chose this campground. The sites were spacious for a Florida campground, the restrooms clean with entry of hot water and the grounds pretty to walk with palms and a pond. Old Town Trolley tours will pick you up at the campground no extra charge, a Dollar General is right next door if you run put of milk and the laundry is convenient to all the sites. Once we parked we didn't have to drive until we were ready to leave. Best of all was how quiet it was

Handy to 95 and the city and outlet malls. Good sam park.nice big Pull throughs. I had trouble with phone reception and wifi. The nicest thing is all of thr natural areas around. Great places to walk or walk the dog. Laundry and bath house were adequate.

This place decided a day after accepting my fully paid reservation to call and tell me they needed to either book me for a second day or refund my money, seriously? Apparently they forgot to tell me that when they booked my spot. We discussed virtually everything else including cancellation policy's, but a 2 day minimum was omitted. Not a good practice in my book

We called while on the road to a state park that was closed due to tropical storm warning. They were very accommodating we didn't arrive until after midnight they had given good directions to site and it was a level pull through so we were set up quickly.he also made sure the site was available for two nights just in case state park stayed closed and reduced price by 19.00 a night the bath house was second only to fort wilderness at Disney . Would recommend to anyone as a good place to stay .

Drove into St Augustine late and without a reservation. They were the only ones who answered their phone. Found me a spot and the gentleman who guided me in was very patient with a very tired and night blind traveler. Left early the next morning but it looks like they offer a lot of activities.

Hi. We reserved this site online and pic of space 7 looked great. But when we set up there we were adjacent to 4 lane busy noisy highway. There were 2 huge motor homes right beside us and a bright large yellow security light behind us. It was so noisy and felt like we were in a fishbowl. Do not rent space 7!

Great place for an overnight stop after long day on the road. Hot showers clean comfort station very pleasant staff. Our site was level clean and a decent size.
By user-5896666... on 2017-10-23.
Very basic park right down to the landscaping. Park sites are ant infested. No extras after full hook up. Bathrooms were clean and so was laundry area. Seemed to be used as a stop over for most. I would recommend for one night but not for longer term camping. Big rig friendly and large basic sites.

This is a nice park close enough to St Augustine and the beaches to make it very convenient. Sites are typical in size and distance to neighbors for a private RV park. Staff was very nice. Gated facility. Directv worked in our site but there are some trees so may have issues depending on the location. Easy to navigate the grounds and they had someone escort us to our spot. Our trip was cut short by Irma.
By user-5901926... on 2017-10-23.
Wonderful park! Very friendly and clean. The only reason I gave it four and not five is because of no pool. Very easy to get in and out of in a large class a motorhome. A place we want to come back and stay again.

My second time here and this time was like visiting a new campground. Everything is clean, organize, its gated now for more security, and bathroom are very very clean. I will recommend this campground to anyone. Kudos and great job

Under new ownership. Now called Compass. Lots of shade. Definitely not parking lot style camping. Good location. Very clean showers. New laundry room. Big fenced area for dogs.

It's a good place to stay and see St Augustine because it's very close to town. All the previous comments are accurate about sites being spacious, leveled and clean. It has good laundry facilities. No trash pick up, but WIFI was excellent, of course there weren't many RVs when we stayed, maybe 13-14. If you have kids, know that there is no pool or any recreation. The hook ups worked well and all and all we enjoyed our stay.
By user-5347114... on 2017-10-23.
We have been checking out new parks to us and this one was great!!! Quiet and beautifully kept Park. I really liked that they escorted you to your site at check-in. The staff was welcoming friendly and just awesome. The entire park has been recently refurbished and there is so much more to come over the summer including a bunch of recreational areas like basketball, a kids playground, and even a pool. The little fishing pond was awesome. They have an agreement with Old Town trolleys to provide transportation in and to st. Augustine for an affordable price. we love it that we didn't have to take our truck anywhere once we got here. Wonderful Clubhouse were they served breakfast for only $3 per person on Saturday morning. With live music in other activities that they have planned during certain times of the year. This was an awesome place to stay and we will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay in December in a class A motorhome. Sites are spacious, level, and very well kept. Laundry and baths are superb. New owners and staff are awesome. Location is perfect for exploring Saint Augustine. We will return.

Many recent improvements reflect pride of ownership in this park! The staff were awesome, eager to help, and friendly! They greet you at the gate, take you to your site, and help you arrange your rig. Our site was a back-in and one of the smaller spaces but not bad. A nice touch was the small 3'x 6' fences that hid your sewer hook-ups from your neighbor's site. The newer spaces (in the 100s) were awesome! They have a beautiful new pool, laundry, clubhouse, and workout room! St Augustine is minutes away! They also had a nice calendar of activities. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent park. Great dog park, gym, laundry facilities, pool. My only complaint is that the sites are on top of each other. No privacy. I would come back, though. St Augustine is a wonderful city to visit.

Nice park, friendly people. We arrived and were immediately greeted with our park info, key card and local info as well as a guide to help us get to our spot. Nicely landscaped, sites are well laid out. My only complaint would be 100+ sites and only 2 washers and dryers. We are FT’ers and appreciate the w/d amenity immensely. Best part though was the Old Town Trolley picks you up with your paid ticket and you can wander around old St Augustine all day or even wander over to Anastasia Island on their beach bus. A 3 day ticket was $25/person. At entrance to the park is a Dollar General which makes picking up an item your missing or run out of really easy.
By user-5861797... on 2018-05-17.
$473 with discounts for 7 nights. Gravel roads and small concrete pads. Sites are generally narrow but they do have 2 or 3 that can handle rigs up to 70’, which we needed. Staff very friendly. Close for visiting attractions in St Augustine.

Great place to stay to visit St Augustine! Only a short drive away or the trolley shuttle will come pick you up. Nice shaded spots in the section we were in. Best part was they provided curb side check in right when we pulled in. Have never seen that before. Also, they have several "buddy spots" for those camping with friends. Had a few fun activities scheduled but we didn't take advantage of them

First I have to say this RV Park was beautiful. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful pool area and club house. We only stayed one night passing through. The park ranger met us at the gate upon arrival ( it was after hours ) we didnt even have to get out of our motor home. She was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice cool night, so instead of running the air we opted to open the windows for the night. I guess a big mistake on our part. We could not believe how much noise there was throughout the night! Loud cars racing up and down the highway, planes flying over, at one point we heard a helicopter. A train blowing its whistle passing through several times through the night. You could here traffic all night long! It made it very difficult to sleep. In the early morning around 6:30 am, we heard a dump truck dumping a load and slamming his tailgate. There was a large dog barking in the not too far distance all night. The noise was non stop! I was so disappointed in that aspect of it. Like I said, it's a nice park, pricey but beautiful! I guess if you want to stay keep your windows closed! I'm surprised no one has mentioned the noise part of it in other reviews.

This is one of the nicest RV Parks we have ever stayed in. And it is the ONLY place where I didn t even have to get out of the drivers seat to check in! They came out to the coach with all the paperwork needed. We were checked in and parked on our site in minutes. This park is clean and quiet. The office and grounds around it were spotless. WiFi worked fine. They ask about satellite dishes because some of their sites are open and very satellite-friendly while others are surrounded by trees in deep, cool shade. If you use satellite TV, they will try to put you in an open site where it will work. You don t even need to drive to town to see the historical sites in old St. Augustine. Old Town Trolley Tours runs a shuttle to the park every morning at 9 and 10 am. You can ride the shuttle into town where you can board the regular tour trolleys and see the town. When you re done and ready to head back, Old Town will get you back to the park on the shuttle in short order.

Sites are average in size, ones in the back have pavers so you are not on the grass/ gravel. Cable (they have satellite) went out on us several times. We were parked on the back row of the new section with a construction company behind us. We got awakened each morning about 6:30 as big trucks started their engines and moved equipment around. And we had neighbors who let their kids stay up past midnight a few nights and make noise. Did not see any security driving around to monitor quiet hours. We were a long way from the pool and office and there was no parking, so we didn't use it. All that for $ 70 a night plus $5 extra per night for an extra adult.

Large campground with large sites. Many drive through sites. Gated and safe with friendly staff. Entrance is at light next to a dollar general, not where GPS tries to take you. Property was purchased by corporation and they moved the entrance from where it used to be.

We chose this park because we didn t toll a car & they offered a shuttle into OldTown, so glad we stayed there. We stayed on the newer premium lots in the back section, very nice, spacious lot. They probably had the best group of people that worked at the Park of any 5 star Park we have stayed in. They met you at your RV for Check-in then had someone escort you to your lot, you never get out of your RV till your in your space. The host helped my husband setup, get cable going and check our WiFi! We realized that we we re very far from the shuttle pickup so they came on the golf cart and took us home everyday! The bathrooms and showers we re so clean, they had a fire and people singing Saturday night. The dog Park was great plus they furnish the poop bags with a disposal there. I read some of the reviews and don t agree with them, you get what you pay for, we could have chosen a cheaper lot in the older section that was on gravel and smaller, but they we re nice also. Would highly recommend this Park, hope to return.

This was a great value and a very convenient location near St Augustine. The park has full hookups including cable (fair to good reception). I did not try the wifi however I had good signal. Gravel lot was semi level. They shine in the amenities and cleanliness of this updated RV park. They staff is extremely friendly and accommodating to include curbside checkin and flexibility when we wanted to extend our stay. There is also a shuttle to and from St. Augustine. I highly recommend purchasing tickets for the Old Town Trolley from the RV park office. It's not only convenient, it's also a cost savings. We are looking forward to returning to Compass RV Park everytime we are in the area. Also check out my driving review on YouTube ( RV Reviews Upgrades & Repairs) to be uploaded early January 2019

One of the nicest parks we have ever experienced. Facilities very nice. Fabulous new workout room, sparkling clean modern bathrooms, and two lovely dog parks. Spaces are spacious and well maintained. New area is even better.

We wish we could extend our stay but they are all booked up as they should be. The staff is very delightful. The sites were clean and very nice. We have a 42 ft 5th wheel and fit well. The roads we're paved and very nice. The laundry area was super clean and accessible - $2.25 a load. Pet friendly with a pet area and buckets around to clean up after your dog. Smores and campfire on Friday nights. Sat breakfast. We are a younger family with kids and they loved the heated pool, table tennis, and play area too. Close drive to the beach. Shuttle for the trolley at the gate. We will be back!

This was our second stay at Compass and we definitely be back. The staff are great and the grounds are very well maintained. Our site was the perfect size for us and offered some good privacy as well as a chance to catch some sun. The dog park is great although we still can t get our Runner interested in using any of the agility equipment, lol. There s so much to explore in St. Augustine so we are already planning a longer stay next time.
