| Bear problem...gimme a break

No garbage service because of bear problem.....really? Makes you wonder how Alaska, British Columbia & all other Yukon parks manage....it's called bearproof dumpsters. I call it passing the expense of being a business owner unto the public. I find it very disgusting the fact that "Mrs" told us to disporse our trash at a wayside rest, that way the providence can pay for operating their business! Wow, don't think they would last long in USA!

| Love, love this park

We stayed here twice. Once on the way to Alaska and once on the way back to the state. It is Kluane Lake and has some awesome views. If you call ahead you might be able to get a site on the water. We just showed up both times and didn't have trouble getting a site. Be aware that they run this whole campground on 3 large generators so there is only 15 amp. service. You can not run multiple appliances at one time. They will give a list of what you can and can't do. Also, you must take any garbage with you. They do not have dumpster for trash. In spite of those things I wished we could have stayed longer. Bathrooms were spotless and grounds were well maintained. Don't let the review from 2015 stop you from staying here.

| Incredible location

We arrived at this park on a sunny afternoon when Kluane Lake was gorgeous. The campground sits right on the lake, with some water view sites, which we were fortunate enough to get. There is a large beach composed of small stones, not sand. This is a glacial lake. We had a nice fire ring, good working electric and water. No sewer. As previous reviewer said, there is 15 amp service only. We did fine for two nights on this, and were able to run our small space heater all night. Just one appliance at a time, besides fridge. The views are spectacular, the sites were level and clean, and the owners were wonderfully friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here on the way to Alaska. We look forward to staying there again on our way back to the lower 48. The older review is a bit harsh, and apparently the writer failed to see the beauty of the campground. Not to mention that we paid 30.00 US per night. These sites would be 100.00 in the US.
