Based on previous reviews, decided to give Coy Lake Campground a try, to and from our trip to the Canadian Maritimes. Easy on, easy off, from the Trans Canada, with an easily accessible Shell station, right at the exit. Also right next to Fredericton, New Brunswick. What made our stops here memorable was the Campground owner, Donna, who was extremely friendly as well as helpful. Even Lise, the maintenance person was so nice, even providing a "care" package of treats to our little dog. Our site was level, both ways, eliminating the need to unhook. Clean campground, including washrooms. Will definitely make Coy Lake Campground a regular stop on our trips out east.
We just pulled thru for one night stay. Has bathrooms with pay showers, playground and pool. FYI no kids allowed in pool after 7pm. Kids were not impressed as it was super hot and muggy and they couldn't cool off after playing in the playground. There is a rec centre with pool table and games but you're only allowed to use on rainy days. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
We stayed one night and the site had everything! Great view to the lake, it was clean and the people there were awesome. They borrowed a barbecue grill and everything. Really good experience.
