Great spots, shades & large with fire pits & additional tent spots. Great hiking/exercise trails. Full hookup, nice pool play area for kids, & playing in the dirt (a.k.a. Digging for Diamonds).

Not a happy camper

Tried to stay here in early October 2015. After driving 50 miles out of my way to get there just to be turned away as we didn't have reservations. Website doesn't tell you that , just recommends it. Never seen a state park that REQUIRES reservations. Can't give review of campground as we were turned away. Probably won't be back.

Nice camp grounds, came in with out reservation stay 5 days. Restrooms where hot.

A great stop

Of course you. An hunt for diamonds, the only place on the planet you can do so for a nominal fee. With that you also get large level paved sites a woodland Canopy, bit showers , some free wifi, verison coverage. Trails to the little Missouri River, and quite. All that for $35 more or less for full hookup. I wish they were this nice. Plus a playground for kids and a small water park too ( not open when we where there.

Beautiful area. Very nice RV sites. Wi-Fi backhaul could be more robust...being one of the features we treasure after a few weeks of boondocking.

Very nice campground staff and very helpful. Camp sites were wonderful. Nicely spaced apart with picnic table and fire pit. Nice wooded area for camping & family privacy.

Level, water & electric. No problem parking my 40 ft DP. What more can you ask for.
Long drive from I40, over some "interesting" roads. Got to see parts of Arkansas that aren't in the tourist brochure.

The park trees were showing off their beautiful fall colors. The sites were spacious. Paved sites with full hookups. Super friendly staff. Will definitely come back here. CAUTION: Do not take Hickory Creek Road (gravel road ) to the park. It dwindled to single lane, big ditches, and under water in one part.
