Worst park yet. Weedy, unkempt, water on and off , bad wifi, no cable, fitness center is a closet with flooring coming up, tree roots posing tripping problems, have to share a little space with neighbors. Had major construction on the site next to us and we couldn't use our outdoor area for three days No discount or any consideration given to us. Dog walk has sign to beware of rattlesnakes. All for $65 a night

We stayed 3 days in a 40' fifth wheel. Park is not bad, It's average. Water pressure was iffy but we always had water. They had a pet area in the park that was ok so we didn't go up the ridge where the snake signs were. Hubby climbed the ridge and walked around to enjoy the views. He didn't see any snakes!

No cable TV. Some of the RV sites need repair. The paved sites have pot holes & are poorly maintained. Staff are friendly & escort you to your site. Nice club house & store with good selection of goods.

Quick stop but so convenient off I70. Very crowded so call early. Tight spaces but managed and they're paved. Very clean bathrooms; great little hiking trail for dogs too. Family of bunnies greeted us when we came in late and were there Staff is super friendly. Yes it's expensive but it's one of the last stops before heading into mountains. Close to Denver and Red Rocks too. If you need gas there's a TA/Shell at exit 266. Stop there!! Will def come back. Thank you!!

I had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at Dakota Ridge RV Park in Golden, CO. I was assigned space J5 and was escorted there by a park employee. The spaces are very close and the interior roads are very narrow. The park employee was guiding me into my space and put the right side of my coach into a tree branch. Two additional park employees came over to cut the branch away from my coach. I sustained slide cover damage. Because I was driving the coach the park has no liability even though I was following the instructions of the park employee. Then the next day the park had either a low voltage or surge which fried my automatic transfer switch. I asked if the park would give me some credit since my coach was damaged and the answer was no. I will NEVER stay at this park again.

This overpriced RV park has only convenience going for it. No cable TV. Unfriendly staff with the attitude of stay here or go elsewhere... Knowing there are no good options. Rules out the wazoo! One night and done!

Like most RV parks located in congested locations sites are a tad close but I have been in MANY that were significantly closer. Each pull through spot shares a strip of grass with their neighbor though if both parties park correctly they can enjoy one end and you the other. Sites were long enough for the rig and dually which was great. Pool is a bit small but refreshing, nice facilities, mgmt was friendly. I would return and will the following week on our return from the mountains. The only negative is there just aren't enough spots to meet demand so reserve early.

Pricey but one of the few places open during the Winter. Clean facility, nice laundry room. Staff is nice, helpful. Be aware, you must pay half upfront and it is not refundable!!! No exceptions

We just stayed 2 nights on our trek across the country. An hour and a half from Rocky Mountain Natl Park. VERY clean, staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. We paid 62$/night, a little more than we’re used to but truly, it was worth it.

We were going to stay here overnight on a road trip but canceled the idea when we were told it would be $60 for the night! Based on the reviews here, not worth it!!

This place was amazing. The staff was awesome, friendly, informative, and very professional. There is a bar across the street called "urban backyard" with great food and drink specials, the staff is also amazing.

Our site was very difficult to level. The grass space very small, un level, and need to be shared. The pool wasn't heated but very clean and the spa was closed. You can hear the road

Large, quiet and clean RV park just west of Denver. Staff were all friendly. The park was very clean. The restrooms and laundry violins was very clean and spacious. Only complaints were weak wifi and no cable. However all Denver channels were available off air. PS. It was a little expensive at $65 a night.

Cleanliness :: 4 The grounds were in good shape and the bathrooms were clean, most of the time. There were several times we would walk into the restrooms to find the floors covered in dirt and mud from the kids playing around the pool - even shortly after their daily cleaning times. Office Staff :: 5 The office staff was awesome - always friendly, and more than willing to work with you to get you what you need. RV Sites :: 3 The sites are rather close together and the pull-through spots are facing in such a way that your front door and your neighbors front door are facing each other. Nothing quite like waking up first thing and bumping into your neighbor. Amenities :: 4 They have a nice sized pool and hot tub - nothing huge, but enough for a few small families to swim around. The laundry facilities are nice but expect to spend about $5 to wash and mostly dry a full load. We had to set some of our cloths out to dry more after pulling them from the dryer since the machines don't work very well. Honestly, if you have a place to hang dry your cloths I would recommend doing that instead of paying the extra money. The showers are a good size with an additional dressing area just outside each shower - very private. Value :: 2 For what you get, it's overpriced. If it's close to an area you want to be in, then this is the better option compared to the other parks in Golden, otherwise I would recommend a different campground further in the mountains - isn't that why people come to Colorado? Extra Tips :: Make time to go down to Woody's pizza. All you can eat pizza and it's so much better than any other pizza buffet I've ever had! Also, make reservations to each at the Sherpa House on the back patio - they easily have the most beautiful backyard eating area I've ever seen and it's well worth any wait you may have! The food is really good too.

Also right next to noisy road (other side of fence where we were). Good location for area trips. Had hail storm, demolished our vent covers. Fortunate campers inn was very close. Park was nearly full, tight maneuvering for 32c and had to unhook toad. Good WiFi. Worth a stay.

Don't stay here on a weekend when the weather is nice! There is a new biker bar across the street with an outside stage and very loud live music. Of course, since it's a biker bar the bikes are roaring in and out. We arrived here Friday afternoon. The loud music started early in the evening. It began again at noon on Saturday. It was annoying even with both air conditioners and a fan running. The park is fine but nothing special. The price is high for what it is but that's a matter of supply and demand.

Decent place. One of the few RV parks in the Denver metro area & they re prices reflect it. I ve only stayed here in the off season & even then it was fairly crowded. Can t imagine it in the summer. It is a convenient location and has all the amenities you would expect for the price. Internet is pretty weak though.

We have stayed at Dakota Ridge a few times. Super expensive, tight spots, doors facing one another, no privacy. I had to cancel on one visit. They give you a credit, no refund. I m ok and understand that. You must use it within a certain amount of time. Ok...no problem. I just called to get my credit used for tuesday, July 2nd. A one night stop over deliberately so I can use my $74.00 credit. Nooooo! You need to stay three night that week. I only need one night AND THEY HAVE vacancies! Daniel could have cared less. No credit no refund three days. doo yourself a favor. Go down to Indian Paintbrush Campground. Spacious, beautiful, great views!

Well it has been stated before pretty clearly. It is all about location and there are few alternatives if you want to stay in the Denver metro area. Other than convenience, you don t get much. 40+ rigs will be tight but doable. Close to neighbors. Depending on the site, drainage for sewer is flat at best and maybe not even that on some sites. Additional fees for 2nd parked car, early Arrival or late departure. Will we come back - most likely because we have no other alternative. A case where competition would make this a better place. And yes motorcycle noise.
By user-4977861... on 2019-08-09.
We scheduled to stay here because of location and the amenities. The campsites are very close like most RV parks. This is not a campground that is inviting to pull out your chairs to relax outside. There are green spaces but they are small. A plus is the concrete pads at each site. A big negative is the loud band at the biker bar across the street. I don t have anything against bikers or good music. However, we didn t choose to hear a loud band inside our RV for hours on end.

Very tight RV spots, motorcycle roadhouse across the street very loud. You really don t have a lot of Choices in the Denver area. This not a 10,10,9 rated park . In my opinion. So now u know.

Arrived @12:15, 45 minute before check in and was charged $25 extra on top of the already expensive fees. Staff although very nice were not very knowledgeable on what was around or how to get there. The sites are basically parking spots.

It's hard to find nice RV camping when visiting Denver. This RV park is just west of town in the foothills so we're out of the craziness of town. Beautiful, clean park with helpful, friendly staff. The large back-in sites on the far side of the park are best. View from the back is of a green, rock covered hill. Very nice.
