Great place.

Very clean, lots of grass, very level spaces (our's was no Jacks or tire blocks needed). Ordered a pizza made there and a bottle of wine. Staff very friendly.

Nice Overnight!
By user-5775729... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed in pull-thru site #65 in a Motorhome with a Jeep toad. Nice gravel, almost level site that the stabilizer fixed in short order. Very nice staff and they lead you right to your spot. We would be pleased to stay here again on our way West!

Excellent Campground
By user-5829523... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2016-09-08 to 2016-09-09
Seriously this is a well thought out campground. Has too many ammenities to mention. Friendly and accommodating staff, they even delivered pizza to our RV (they have in house pizza and wings)!
We didn't try all the features as we just stayed overnight, but from what we could see it was clean and well kept.
Only downside is that the sites (although pull throughs) are very tight. Wi-if was too weak in our location.

Immaculate

This very open KOA doesn't offer much shade but it is extremely well kept. Gravel pull through spaces with grass in between plus a newer picnic table and fire ring. Lots of cabins. Not all spaces are level. avery well stocked store offers essentials plus hot pizza baked on site. We'll be back. Nice stop.

Wonderful Family KOA
By user-5884448... on 2017-10-23.
We stopped for the night on our travels. The staff is very friendly! The park is geared toward families, there was a lot of kids having so much fun, I would recommend this park to everyone. It was easy to park and set up.

The best Des Moines camping
By user-5855127... on 2017-10-23.
Don't even think of another camping spot in the Des Moines area, this KOA is the best. Great facilities, pool, restrooms, activities, wine tasting, pizza, wings and close to a neat town of Adel.

This was s nice quiet stop along our journey! I had accidentally made reservation for the next night and we got there after office closed. I called the emergency number and Chris got us all set up and reservation changed to the correct night. Very helpful. We will be back.

Bad Cable
By user-5807473... on 2017-10-23.
We called ahead to make sure they had cable and drove 33 miles out of our way when they said yes. When we arrived we asked about ESPN but were told that was not included. I suggested they should have told us not all channels included. Receptionist was snippy because ESPN charges etc. We will not return and will be leery of campsites in the future. After a long day we just wanted to sit and watch our favorite team. Charge for stay was $41 which was pricey but we figured we'd save that by not going to a Sport's Bar.

Great KOA

This is by far one of the best KOAs we have stayed at. Wide spaces with concrete pads with patio set up to start grilling and enjoy. We will be back.

Nice place.
By user-5980263... on 2017-10-23.
Level, gravel , wide lots. Nice dog park. Stayed in our travel trailer. Paid a total of $46. Very quiet after Labor Day. Tricky check-in since no one in office until after 4:00. If you register before hand, go to the laundry room and find your prepared envelope with lot assignment.

Great Stay!

Stayed 2014-10-17 to 2014-10-18
The women camp hosts were really helpful, we got there just before closing and they showed us to our site. Pizza was delivered to the trailer and it was great! The bathrooms were clean. Lots for kids to do, but didn't know you needed to buy a $5 armband, and the office was closed when I went to get one the next day. There was lots of dog poop on the site and between the sites. Watch where you step!

Still Great!

Follow-up to our visit in 2017. This KOA is
rising to the top of our favorite RV parks! Same good customer service and facilities. Stayed at pull-through site #4 in
a motorhome with toad. Nice wide site with a level gravel base. Park is expanding and probably has something for everyone. Stayed here a total of three times so far with no disappointments!

Nice KOA
By user-6224100... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-09-14 to 2018-09-15
We were here for just one night, passing through, but could see staying longer. Nice , easy to negotiate roads. Mostly crushed gravel, but fairly level and nice space between RV's. Nice dog park and a little pond to walk dogs around. Didn't use any other facilities, but lots of people doing so. They also have organized activities for kids and a fire ring. Nicely done .... would recommend.

One of the best KOAs!
By user-5515726... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-09-15 to 2018-09-18
We've stayed at a lot of KOAs and this place is definitely in the top three. It's got everything... pool, playgrounds, cable, dog park, activities, etc. The spaces are long and wide. The WiFi was the best we've ever had. A little pricey, but worth it. The only negative is that many of the sites are not very level... not horrible, but surprised they haven't fixed it.

Pricey!
By user-6671346... on 2019-08-09.
$61 for full hook ups without KOA membership. Mile and a half from I-80, very convenient. Lots of activities for kids. Long pull through sites. Interior gravel roads had pot holes and ruts. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms.

Very nice, easy check in
By user-5411697... on 2019-08-09.
Very nice, easy check in. We arrived several hours later than expected, and were able to easily find our way to the campsite. HUGE playground and jumper for the kids to play on. Park felt laid back and the other campers were friendly. Close to the freeway.

Park was very clean but we were in space 71 and they are not very leavell. Wheels had to be off the ground on the one side and the back could not get high enough to leavell. Not worth the money.
