Nice
By user-5278725... on 2018-06-27.
Stayed at both this one and the Lazy Acres near the airport one night each in Nov 2016 -- both have their advantages. This one is larger and more kid friendly with lots of activities. Interstate noise was a distant hum. The long-termers have their own section with own bath, while overnighters are near the main house. Good wifi. No complaints. Speaking with the locals many of the bad reviews below are non-existent now; changed owners several times and I found the grounds and staff to be excellent. Will stay again.

Family fun for sure
By user-5024486... on 2018-06-27.
We stayed for a couple of nights and used our antenna to get a spread of channels that were better in picture vs. the cable offered. Each site was nice and roomy and very well maintained. $45.00 dollars each night sounds pricey, but this will allow you to have access to: 2 pools, a playground, a nature walking trail thru the woods, bark park and a putt-putt corse. My opinion worth the money and we took full advantage of all of it! The office also doubled as a breakfast area with some necessities for sale. If you are looking for quite keep in mind this is oriented towards families and children.

Nice and quiet
By user-6393318... on 2018-06-27.
First of all, just remodeled the bathrooms. Very nice!! Go outside, and you head birds singing. Kids saw a toad in the road hopping a cross the road, and talked about it all day. Laundry was nice. Older machines, but work very well. Complementary breakfast was nice and great waffles. Like the fact the employ ex SF military guys. Really a great place. Great showers! Hard to believe your so close to the freeway. So quiet.

Excellent park like location
By user-5867702... on 2018-06-27.
Stayed 2016-07-19 to 2016-07-20
Lots of shade and great walking areas, quiet and allowed to wash your vehicle. Gravel sites that are a little close together but not as bad as many we have used. Wifi was very spotty, decent cable TV.
Only real problem was the other campers not respecting your site and using it as a walk though, not a fault of the campground only poor manners of other campers.

Have overnighted here over the yrs. traveling I-95. Easy to find. Very Well-maintained. Owners making upgrades. Sites are angled and roomy. Trees afford shade. Place is huge. Obviously some permanent residences. But mostly away from transient areas. Playground. Pool being constructed. Large (look like permanent) and small camping cabins. more park-like than most private campgrounds. Clean & tidy. We stayed in an overnight area with easy level pull-in, pull-out. Did not have to unhook to set up. Will definitely stay here again.

Best RV Park in Fayettville Area that We've Found
By user-5893442... on 2018-06-27.
This is by far the best RV Park we have found in the Fayettville area, and we say this after having stayed other places. The park is very well laid out and well maintained. The park offers paved interior roads, hard packed gravel at the sites- most come with a fire pit-, spacious sites while still offering privacy, 2 pools, 2 laundry facilities and bath facilities, propane, recreation areas, and an open field where they have concerts, etc. They also have a wooded trail that is about a half mile long. There are quite a few permanents that stay here (mostly because of being military) but they put them in a separate section and they are all friendly and their RVs are well maintained. They also offer cabin rentals. The only complaint I have (and I almost bumped it down a star because of it) is that the manager's son and his friends zip around here on their motorcycles with no regard for guests. They often don't wear helmets, pop wheelies, ride side ways on the motorcycles, glare at you as they go by, ride up behind cars, and ride on the trail that says "no motorized vehicles". I reported it to management not knowing it was her son. It's a safety issue for the kids that can't be more than 6th grade and it's a safety issue for the guests. Other than that, it's a very nice place to stay and even though it is right off of I-95, it is kind of off the beaten path with plenty of road biking in the area.

Very nice
By user-5881267... on 2018-06-27.
This is a very nice, clean park. It looks like almost all the sites are pull through with lots of room. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. My only irk is that they shut off movie streaming so if you're looking to watch Netflix or Amazon or what-have-you , you're out of luck.

May 2017
By user-6146824... on 2018-06-27.
Extremely friendly staff; they go out of their way to assist u with any needs. Store stocked well and breakfast offered many days. Campground is well maintained, sites r gravel, but level. Cable tv was being upgraded, so bad reception during our 4 night stay. Flies where an issue, so bring a fly swatter. Overall, very clean and nice place for overnight or short stay.

Nice Stopover
By user-5840872... on 2018-06-27.
We stayed for two nights on one of two premium sites they offer. While it was nice, it was hardly worth the $56.00 nightly fee. The parking pads were large gravel which should have been been concrete or asphalt but the patio was concrete with wrought iron table and chairs. That was the extent of their "premium site". We would have been equally served staying on one of their long pull through minus the wrought iron furniture for a cheaper price.
We stayed during leaf dropping time and were ankle deep on leaves. On day two of our two day stay someone came and blew the leaves from right around the immediate area of our RV while we were grilling our supper meal outdoors - bad timing. Since our reservations for this site were made in advance, you would think they could have at least blown the leaves off of the patio. No site preparation had been done prior to our check in or the next day.
I do think this is a nice campground although much of it seems to be occupied with long term campers and cabins littered throughout the park although we were not bothered at all by them. It appears these could be people staying here and working in the area. We would stay here again if in the area.

Great place
By user-5785961... on 2018-06-27.
Apparently not KOA since June 2013; however, its a great spot. Roomy sites, level, dog park, very friendly owners and staff. Planned to stay one night but stayed an additional night. Very relaxing. Cable was OK.

$49.50/nite. Cable tv channels were all "snowy". I got better channels with my "air" antenna. Couldn't ever get logged onto their free wifi. Wouldn't accept the password they gave me and the office closes at 5pm. I checked in after 4pm so found out too late to complain. I will stay else where when I pass through next time.

Nice park for overnighters on I-95
By user-6336722... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-08-11 to 2018-08-12
We've stayed here 3 times over the last few years while travelling up and down I-95. I think they continue to make nice improvements to the park. It's very clean and level. Easy access to / from I-95, but far enough that the noise is almost zero. They have two pools, club house, etc. There's a pretty large section of seasonals / permanents, but it's all clean and residents are super friendly. I think rates shown on RVParky are old - we paid $54 for a night after the Good Sam discount for a "deluxe pull-through", but I feel this is not out of line compared to other campgrounds with these amenities, quality and proximity to the interstate. Free internet worked very well. As someone else said, some cable channels are "snowy" . I'd definitely recommend.

Stayed a Weekend w Camping Club
By user-6341880... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-03-08 to 2019-03-10
We recently spent a nice weekend at this well maintained park right off I-95. The sites were good sized and arranged such that we did not feel as though we were staying in an oversized parking lot. There were many shade trees and the roads wound just enough to make the park seem like a neighborhood.
The best part of our stay was karaoke night on Saturday night, an event sponsored by the club.
Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or a stop on your way north or south, I recommend giving this park a try.

Beautiful

This is a gorgeous, quiet campground. Nice long level gravel sites. Close to I95 but absolutely no road noise. Lots of shade, beautiful pool, and nice people! We will be back for a longer stay next time!

Gorgeous place

One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. A friend recommended and so glad he did. It's a 10/10/10 Good Sam park and ir's clear why. Excellent customer service. Beautiful grounds, big spacious flat FHU sites, many nice amenities including putt putt golf, gorgeous pool, clubhouse, activities, nature trail and 2 dog parks. Right off I-95 but you'd never know it. Easy short drive to Fayetteville where there is lots to do and see. We visited Airborne & Special Ops museum and walked Cape Fear River Trail. Will definitely come again.

Very Clean and Pretty

Stayed 2019-05-20 to 2019-05-21
What a great campground. Super cute! It was right off I95 very easy to get to. We needed a place to stay the night on our trip up north and the voicemail for this campground said even after hours you can swing by and see if there is availability. They have a box by the office, you check the available maps for the sites and register right there. Make your payment either cash or credit and drop in the Dropbox. It was such a lifesaver last night. The kiddos loved it. Pool, mini golf, volleyball, horse shoes, and more.
