They offer Good Sam and AAA discount, but you have to ask when booking

We stayed two nights late in the season, and found the park very quiet as well as no road and train noise. It’s in a wooded area with lots of RV sites. Ours was a pull thru and had plenty of room for my 39 foot fifth wheel and truck plus lots of space from your neighbor. The site was crushed stone and fairly level. We didn’t use the amenities, but the office had a nice gift shop. The only issue I had was getting here from North I-81. Not with signage, because there’s plenty guiding you here. But more the roads are narrow and you have to go through the small town of New Market once you exit off I-81 (Exit 264) the right turn from 211 onto 11 is challenging for someone long like me. Just be aware of this. Of course the best option would be to go to exit 257 off I-81. That's a much better way. Otherwise, the Wi-Fi had a strong signal but was quite slow, even with the place almost empty. We didn’t have an issue with getting a satellite signal, but others may depending on where you are in the park. But they do have cable, which we didn’t use. The staff was friendly (always good at the end of the season) and since we’d never been here before they guided us to our site.
I went on their guided cave tour which is on the premises for $13.00 ($18.00 if you’re not staying here). I’ve been on many excellent cave tours (Carlsbad Caverns in NM, Wind Cave in SD, etc.) and this one was a nice tour, a little over a mile and about 75 minutes. In the spring and summer it will be wet down there, but in the fall, there wasn’t much water flowing or dripping from the ceiling. Overall, I would recommend this tour.
Finally, I was disappointed to find out after I booked this RV park and paid in full that they offer Good Sam and AAA discounts (maybe others too). Because there is no mention of this on their website. So to get the discount, you have to mention that you’re a member. Once here, they will not refund for the discounts. Disappointing!
I would stay here again.

Beautiful campground.
By user-5840053... on 2017-10-23.
Our favorite campground, I'm so glad we are local to have this gem nearby. Very peaceful, beautiful large trees, campsites are lined with rocks and sites are level which is impressive being that the campground is on the side of a mountain. Nice clean pool and bath houses. A lot of the sites are huge! Another plus is the caverns that you can tour, and campers get a discount.

Really nice RV sites. Fairly level in spite of being carved out of the side of a mountain. We visit often.

My wife and I were newly wed in 1974 when we spent our honeymoon here. We loved the grounds and caverns however the west side of the mountains can be pretty wet in August. Looking forward to returning in the summer of 2017 but with a 34 ft rv, had to retire the cabin tent!

Great place

We paid $34 for full service big gravel site. Level wooded and spacious. Hot showers included clean and tiled. There is a trick to getting really hot water though... Turn all the way on then back off a bit. They have a cave tour too discounted with your site purchase.

Nice sites with rocks. Clean bathroom. Quiet. Pool is quaint. Just enough to keep my two young kids happy. Cable and Wifi are spotty but I loved being in the outdoors. The price was right and you get a discount at the caverns. Will return again.

Don't bother
By user-5353701... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2017-10-12 to 2017-10-14
This place has seen better days. The parking lot is steeply sloped with no real good place to park. Our site was sloped forward so our leveler really had to work making our Tiffin Phaeton scrape the rear flap. It's a brand new rig. Augh! There is no cable or wifi. The locals camp here a lot and use leaf blowers to clear their sites. Just like at home in suburbia. Oh goody. I don't camp to listen to what I can hear at home. All day. It's very wooded, which I like. There are fire rings. It felt safe. But isolated and spooky. The check in was less than friendly. We felt like we were bothering them. We camped here in a 41 foot class A. There are very few restaurants or shopping within a half hour. This is Appalachia.

Caves are great but...

Stayed 2018-05-31 to 2018-06-01
The caverns deserve five stars, but the resort itself is kind of unique and it depends what you are looking for. If you like spacious sites in a natural wooded setting with a lot of room between coaches, then you will love it. The drawback to this setting is the bath house. This place is huge and spread out over a pretty hilly area with only two bath houses. The one in the front is also a laundry room and the ladies and men’s rest rooms and two showers are right there next to it in the same building. The showers are behind a curtain and not a secure way to lock up from the laundry area. When we arrived, the swimming pool was just repaired and refilled with very cold well water so our kids could not go swimming that day. The whole resort is set on some pretty steep hills and most sites do not seem level. This place is a few miles off the highway and deep within a farming and residential area, so if you like to get away from civilization, and don’t mind driving on some pretty uneven roads, this would be for you.

Fantastic spacious sites
By user-6369163... on 2018-07-06.
We loved this campground. Easy access with our rv beautiful Woody sites and not on top of each other. Great shade trees for setting up hammocks. Great trails around the park for walking / mountain biking. The caverns are breath taking and so unique.
Staff very pleasant.
WiFi very weak- did not reach our site
Would stay here over and over again - awesome place! Very unique!!

Peaceful and secluded wooded camp resort
By user-6382133... on 2019-08-09.
Endless Caverns, New Market, VA
This campground is 6 miles from I-81. Once you turn on Endless Caverns Rd. It s what seems like a long drive thru farms and residential areas. The campground is at the very end of the road. It is a Peaceful, wooded, secluded setting. Sites are long and wide, carved out of some hilly terrain, but fairly level. The pull thru site (C36) was more than long enough and wide, with space between adjacent sites. All roads are gravel and dusty. This might be a problem when the place is busy and there is lots of traffic. This is a LARGE property with 3 sections of the campground. We were glad to have an escort to our site, because the roads are not labeled. There are 2 bath houses, and I am glad we were self-contained. The women s bathhouse in Section C left a lot to be desired. There was only one shower (of 2) that had a curtain. There was an air unit (heat?) in the wall, but the place was hot and had little ventilation. It looked clean, but not inviting. There is a very pretty catch and release pond with seating around it, volleyball court, huge rec room with a projection screen for movies, a game room, nice wading type pool(maximum depth was 4 ) and lots of roads and trails to explore on foot, bike or 4-wheeler. If you are interested in touring the cavern, you can do that from the registration building at various times for $15./adults and $7. For kids. We were only here overnight, but it would be a nice place for a family to spend some time away from it all. Keep in mind that this IS a remote location. The Park WiFi is spotty, there is NO TV reception, but my Verizon jet pack had a good signal.

We loved this campground. Beautiful large full hook up sites terraced into the hillside with rock retaining walls and half circle bumpouts for the fire pits. Heavily treed with lots of shade. Nice resort style pool, awesome playgrounds and multiple hiking trails. Staff were very nice and responded quickly to fix a leaking water spigot. We saw deer in the woods near our site, lots of birds calling in the trees.

Big Rig
By user-4882717... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed one night. Not that easy coming in and out. We are 40 feet towing. Beautiful campground. Big Rig friendly is a matter of opinion. They need a larger level checkin area for the big rigs.

Nice park. Level sites but crazy hilly curved access roads. Paid premium for pull thru site but exit from site with my big rig was impossible due to narrow curving path out. Had to back out of my pull thru site. Site so narrow I couldn't open access door to exterior TV never mind my awnings. Cavern tour excellent! Campground was full so had no choice on site although I had reserved months ahead. Lots a deer roaming area.

Loved this place!!
By user-4535617... on 2019-08-09.
We just camped for Memorial Day weekend and we love this campground. We love the sites with all the ttrees.I loved that the RVs weren't sitting on top of each other like those big resort campgrounds. We are definitely going back!! We have a 36' foot rig with no tow. We fit a tent and my daughters suv on the site. It was a back-in site. Yes the roads up and down are very hilly, but it's a mountain, you would expect that.

Stopped to visit some caverns and saw that this place was near the hwy. Nicely spaced spots spread up the side of the hill. Great shade, very quiet. excellent staff wish we could chill here for weeks! Gravel spots are nicely "dressed".
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Staff is nice but not too helpful. Shady and attractive area. Sites are not level. Internet is at laundry building only (BTW not air conditioned and pretty dirty) so bring your hot spot and a good data plan. Activities are apparently swimming, playground and such unless it is a holiday when there might be something. I met people leaving early (2 groups said they were leaving early due to this). Suggest you do laundry in town if needed as dryers didn t dry even a smallish load of lightweight items in 48 minutes (nor one with some heavier materials). Road inand out is very difficult
