| Pretty villages
Sunshine is a retirement village with a few transient lots. It's beautiful and well maintained by the ground staff and the residents. Met some of the friendliest folk here. Good pool area with floats you can borrow. Really appreciated the loan of a cable I didn't have for my 4 night stay. No free wifi (club house only) but T-Mobile & Verizon worked well.

Our pull-thru lots are perfect for large RVs, and we offer both nightly rates, and permanent RV and mobile home sites. Rental units are available for those who are not bringing their own unit. The beauty and charm of our community combines the finest amenities, the friendliest staff and all the comforts of home in one location. Keep fit in our exercise room, and cool off in the outdoor pool. Shoot a game of billiards, play some tennis and throw a few horseshoes! We have planned activities welcome to everyone, and fishing on-site in Ridge Lake. Lake Placid was founded in 1912 and has grown into a vibrant and charming community known for its popular mural program. Come for a short visit or stay for a long visit and enjoy splendid weather and great local attractions! Restaurants, shopping, fishing areas, boating and parks are all just a short distance away!
