From the level of hospitality and support from the open 24/7 office staff to the wide range of activities, this place is great! Do to last minute changes in our travel plans I ended up here on a stormy night after 11pm and was still met by staff offering to escort me to my site and asking if there was anything else I needed. Since then, I've become a regular.
We stayed at the campground in a class A motor home for two months. Darrin and Kenny were wonderful and went out of their way to help us anytime we needed anything! Our grandkids loved it. Plenty of activities on the weekend. Many friends were made this summer. MUCH better than the place we at stayed in Freehold. The roads are dusty but you can't beat the service. They have two pools which were very clean and well taken care of. They have a playground and a putt putt. Also basketball and large field for the kids to play in. They have a store with basic necessities and it is manned into the late hours of the night so there is always some one available if you need anything. The rest rooms and showers were clean. The washer / dryer area was well maintained. They have a new pet policy and dogs are welcome. I would walk my dog around the park all day. They do have rules so if you are drunk and disorderly they will ask you to leave.... I think that is why some negative comments and that is why I love this place! Great for the kids and calm and quiet for the adults. We will be back next summer.
The people here are very polite & helpful. As far as the grounds, bathrooms need updating, absolutely hate the sand here! They're are no sites with grass. Should have an area to walk your pets. Stated they have a "new" RC car track, it wasnt a track at all. Could have been from the rain the night before but didnt get to run my cars. Need a few more items in the store/office & faster WiFi. Over all the place is decent. They hosted a ton of family activities when we stayed July 4th weekend. Facilities were clean & the people again were friendly.
