We pulled in with our little teardrop trailer Ann's the park was so crowded, we were kindly advised by the Camp Host to check out Hall state park a few miles away. We headed for hall state park and found a very spacious space for us for the night. We were very grateful to the lovely camp hostess for her advice.
This park sits next to the paved GI bike trail that runs about 25 miles; all combined. It also sits right next to the train's transceiver which can really mess with your cell phone signal, even though you can practically see the tower. The sites are large and spacious with lots of well-groomed plush grass. Peaceful. Have fun at the dump station...although adequate in function, the form leaves something to be desired. You'll see...literally.
Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Nicely maintained park, ELECTRIC ONLY!! Limit 7 days. That’s ok. Lots of local walkers and runners during open hours. (7am to 8:38pm) Sites are of various sizes, pull-thrus are medium size. We had a VERY LARGE site to accommodate our very large rig . BACK-IN. Water station on the way in and a dump on the way out. Also a self registration station that was conveniently located near the long large sites. Walmart is a little over 2 mikes away. (NOT walking distance for us!)
