Been twice
By user-5606979... on 2017-10-23.
1st time in their cabins. Do not recommend that. The state is apparently cutting the funding for the cabins. Worst part... we came home with bedbugs.
2nd time was in out travel trailer. The state is really stepping up on this part. Great place for rv camping

Gorgeous camp, sites right next to the lake. Clean and well maintained, better than most commercial camps.

Nice Park
By user-6417841... on 2017-10-23.
Visited the park during the week in June and it was mostly empty. Two camping areas, one with no water view and elec and water for $10/night. Second has water views and full hookups for $14.50. There is a pool but it was not operational. Minature golf, disc golf, and nature trail.

Stayed 2018-05-30 to 2018-06-03
Ok for the weekend if you have a boat, want to fish or etc. May have been nice once but lack of funding has caused park to degrade. There are 2 campgrounds in this park. DO NOT stay in the Jones creek park. The Yocona Ridge side is Ok but not all sites are actually on the water. Bath house ok. Won't stay here again.

Enjoyable, will come again

Stayed at Yocona Ridge loop—do NOT stay at Jones Creek campground. It is a disgrace. Water, electric & sewer hookups, everything worked great. Water’s edge. Good place for relaxing or fishing. Not so much for children. Flat sites, tables & barbecue grills. Grass well maintained. Bathhouse clean and air conditioned, although old, with new floor tile. Liked the shower heads and plenty of hot water. Repeat: Do Not Stay at Jones Creek side. Park worker told us the only ones who stay there are a bad element. Park does not maintain it at all.
