Goodland KOA

Goodland, KS . . . Our second time staying at a KOA. Campsites were close together; very little grassy area; restrooms were clean. Strange hours for host . . open 7 a.m to 9 a.m. then closed until 1 p.m. . . . kinda makes it hard for the travelers to have access to the office if anything is needed before they depart. Host was friendly and helpful! (nd)

This is a great little place to spend the night. Quiet, clean, very level gravel sites. We camped in a Motor home towing a car. We will stay again.

| An oasis...

After a hard day of driving it was nice to stop where we could just relax and enjoy our evening. Level long pull thrus, FHU, cable, decent WiFi, GRASS and dog run, swimming pool and miniature golf. Friendly staff, clean bath house, ample supplies in store. Plus no road noise! I slept great!!! If in the area we will stop. We didn't unhook... 33' 5th wheel.

One night stop, but excellent. Clean, well maintained, and good customer service. If you have a dog, 3 acres of fenced in running.

| A Good Place to Stop

This is a very nice place. Our pull-through was flat. There are nice trees. Everything worked. The pool is clean and good-sized. The park is convenient to the Interstate. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The laundry and showers older were clean and worked well. We would certainly stay again.

| Shelter From The Storm

Traveling west on I-70 we managed to drive between the tornadoes, hail and rain in eastern Kansas only to hit a terrible snowstorm in western Kansas. Consulting RVParky (the BEST!) we saw there was a KOA in Goodland, KS, which was just 9 (long) miles from where we were. We pulled into the Goodland KOA at about 8pm and were met by the owner. We could certainly stay the night but they weren't completely open yet so we could hook up to power, cable and sewer but no water at the individual camp sites. That was fine with us- we were happy to safe and out of the storm. This is a great KOA. Bathrooms and showers were bright and spotless! Sites were well marked and easy to access. Picnic benches at every site were sitting on raised plank platforms. Mini golf and great playgrounds for "in- season" visitors. We would definitely stay here again. We travel with a fifth wheel.

Nice place to stay. Owners were very very friendly and helpful. Walked to dinner with restaurant recommendation from owner. He was right it was the best food at Crazy R Bar. Only 1 night stay but great experience. Thank you.

| Great stopover

Note: 5 stars for what it is; this is not a destination KOA. Close to I-70 but far enough that you don't hear any road noise. Everything was clean but bathrooms and common areas worn. Sites were very level with tons of pull-thrus available. Yay for not having to unhitch. Mini golf course has been removed, but my kids loved the play equipment especially the old school merry-go-round. Will not hesitate to stay here again on future trips.

We were traveling and just in for the one nite. Owner was onsite and very helpful. Plenty of dog walking area and park was clean and orderly, everything worked at our site. Owner directed us to the town which was a mile away. Plenty of fueling, eating options and a Walmart. Easy off and on to I-70.

Same feedback as all the others- great place for an overnight. We came in after hours and the process was simple. Sites were level, bathrooms clean, and staff the next day were very friendly. Easy access from I-70. They even have a small camp store - eggs, milk, OJ....
