In our 12 years of traveling with our trailer, this is by far the nice's state park we have ever stayed in. Very quiet park, large sites and all are well maintained. Rate was $25 per night and $5 per day for the park pass. Annual park pass is available.
Traveling through on our way to Minnessota we took the opportunity to stay at this park. Although it was about 10 miles off the freeway, it is worth the drive. They have some beautiful sites and it is very well kept. You can be in the trees or out in the open, the choice is all yours. Great bike riding in the campground and outside with paved roads with very little traffic.
This is a very large park and super nice. I saw a lot of people fishing and they have a deluxe fish cleaning station. My fav was the lovely dancing dragon flies, thousands were flying around and putting on an entertaining show.
