Seasonal park

This was mostly a seasonal park. Grounds are beautiful. No face to face contact. Was directed to space over the phone. I had to ask for a receipt which was emailed to me. For some reason we both felt very uncomfortable at this park. We would not stop there again

Beautiful Park

Stayed 2 nights on 9-30 and 10-1-16. Enjoyed stay and even though away from the big city still close enough that it wasn't an issue with us. The owner was at park when we called her and she took us to our site. Reservations are a must and I wanted to book our RV group for next year but completely booked up thru end of October 2017. We will stay again next year at least twice as we go to Davenport to see Aunt at least twice a year.

Camp is farther (10min) from all the eateries and in the middle of farmlands. But very spacious and obvious additions/renovations accommodates bigger rigs. Updated utilities and much nicer shower, laundry, and common area. Easy check in. Staff took our info over phone and talked us to our site. Apparently they are not present on site and you would have to go further (2-3mi) to do face-to-face. Not convenient if you don't have a separate vehicle.

Griff's is off the beaten path, very quite, well kept park. My son stayed there for a year while working in the Des Moines area. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Marvelous Campground

We are full-timers who used to live in the Des Moines area as are many others in this campground. We stay for a month or two every year and think this campground is not only very convenient to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and any other thing you want in Des Moines but a wonderful place to call 'home' while we are on the road. The sites are huge and level with plenty of 'lawn', the bathrooms and laundry are always clean. Beautiful pond, club houses and grounds. Very nice, accommodating owners but most here do stay for a month or so. Reserve in advance and you won't be disappointed. you've got to reserve in advance because it's so nice that everyone else wants to be here too.

We were just passing through Iowa when we needed a resting place for an over night. What a lucky find, a diamond , a true 4 star resort. They had one spot available for for the night, the owner was so nice and accommodating. She guided us to our slip by phone and oh what a delight as we arrived, greeted by two friendly horses we traversed to a spacious, long (70') pull through, concrete pad surrounded by grass, flowers and trees. Fantastic set up, beautiful grounds.... we can not say enough about our stay. We will most definitely be back for a longer stay.

To be fair I did call at last minute, but attitude was not pleasant and said to call back in October. We are here for about 5 days and need a park to learn our new RV we are picking up. Adventure land was much more congenial and had good spots to park in

Not nice on the phone

There's no way to make a reservation on their website and the woman who answered the phone was rude. Very short. No availability when we needed it, no worries. You aren't nice.

Great place, very well maintained. Pond with fountain and sculptures throughout walking trail. Right off of highway, but far enough that no noise. Train tracks are close, so you do hear train 4-5 times per day, but it is a distant whistle. Bordered by Rails to Trails paved bike path. I spent 6mo here and very pleased with experience.

There very picky who they let in.and she does inform you her son is a cop .if your a construction worker of color she hates having you there.would never stay here again there are better rv parks around and friendly.they don't judge you.walmart would be better then here.
