Stayed here fri-sat nights to visit Hershey park. The sites on the end near the highway are definitely subject to road noise but on the other end it wasn't too bad. Bath house was in great condition. Surprised at the available shade. Little one had fun at the playground. Glad we stayed here.

This campground is in the city of Harrisburg and backs to the highway, so there was that noise. Not disturbing but obvious. Spacious, quiet, and well maintained pull through, full hook up spots. There's a pool that's heated and open till end of Oct. bathrooms are in impeccable condition. No events /activities offered. Seems to be family friendly with a large playground but no kids around when we went. $55/night is a bit steep for a campground next to the highway in my opinion but considering how well it's maintained, I would stay again. 20 mins to Hershey. Close to shopping, restaurants and bowling alley (less than 5 mins away). Wifi and cable available and actually work! Laundry and propane on site for a fee.

| Quiet Peaceful Friendly Clean

East Coast 2 week vacation, this was stop 1 of 3. We were greeted with very friendly and welcoming customer service. The sites were mostly all pull-thru which was good for our 42 foot with Toad. Sites had lots of shade, and we were assigned a site with good distance between other occupied sites which made it quieter. I would say that if you got a site close to the highway that it might be a little noisier, but ours was on the opposite end away from the highway. They also had a little back porch with glider rockers and they provided free fresh fruit and vegetables for guests. Lots of playground space for those of you with children. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped by on way to see son and stayed 5 days. Nice place to visit and see Hershey park. Stopped on way back the middle of Aug and was told that they had a small price increase. It wasn't a small one. One night cost us $60. Bit steep.

| Nice and clean

Nice, clean CG with easy access to Interstate. Our 50 amp, FHU, pull-thru site was gravel with lots of shade. Lots of trees in whole CG. Our site took a little work to level. Enough room between sites to sit outside. Sites near Interstate were quite noisy. Ours was near office, so noise not a problem inside or out. WiFi was excellent as was cable. Good Verizon cell service. Friendly, efficient check-in. Lots of shopping/restaurants nearby. Close to downtown Harrisburg and easy drive to Hershey. Lancaster about a 45 minute drive. We stayed in a motorhome and would stay here again.

| Great for even a week long stay

We stayed for a week while my husband attended a class at PennDOT. The staff was very friendly and the extra touches like free ice and sharing from their garden harvest were much appreciated. Being close to the Turnpike makes it really convenient for those passing thru the area and we met lovely people from Florida, Alabama and even New Zealand. Everyone commented how much they were enjoying their stay and the folks from Florida went an hour out of their way to stay again on their return trip home. We were surprised at the number of seasonal campers for an urban campgound but with all the trees and surrounding greenspace it doesn't feel like you are close to the city. The highway and airport traffic didn't bother us at all but may bother some. If you are there for more than a night, be sure to try the pizza shop and very unique beer store just a block away. The sites are clean, well maintained and mostly all pull thru. We will definitely return when in the area.

Such nice people running the place. Stayed during freak snow storm and were pretty unprepared. They were so helpful and kind to us.

Nice park. We stay here often when visiting family in area. Jake breaks out on Highway can get noisy at times. Nice laundromat and pool. A great place to stay a weekend or for an overnight stop.
