Quiet Hidden Gem

Open with some trees and a nice bass fishing lake. Beautiful open views over rolling hills. Everything is kept up and very clean. People kept to themselves. Lady at the office was very pleasant. It's a quiet campground. There is a seasonal area separate from the transient visitors. The seasonal section was nearly empty. Plenty of country gravel roads to bike or run. Trails were mowed often. In June we saw all kinds of Lightning bugs and heard some bullfrogs. The kids and I loved the bass fishing. Bass were hitting the green Senko worms and crankbaits. The whole area is quiet and quaint. Laurel Highlands/Ohiopyle area nearby. Walmart and other stores minutes away too.

Arrived Friday the 13th but had only good luck at this campground; fast cheerful check-in, wonderful large site with spectacular view, enormous cement fire pit and solid picnic table. Nice strolling path around lake, very well equipped camp store, and convenient haunted barn across the street! I would highly recommend this campground. We camped in 27 foot Class C

this was such a pleasant surprise. everything so clean, the staff so helpful. there is a AAA discount and you an store your rig on the site for only $2 per day if you are leaving for a couple of days and then returning. Not one negative thing to be said. Oh, did I mention the spotless restrooms with showers?!

This is a nice little campground in South Central Pennsylvania. It has a nice size pool, fishing lakes, and is near the town of Rockwood, and not too far from the ski areas of Hidden Valley and Seven Springs. There is a separate area of long term campers. People were very friendly. I would return.

Beautiful Location

Well off the beaten path but worth the few extra miles to get here. Set among rolling hills of mostly farmland and out amongst the cows it is one the most scenic and quiet campgrounds we've been to. It rained a lot while we were here but that didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the location. It rained when we toured Flight 93 Memorial but, again, not a problem. The sites are wide and plenty long enough for our 40 ft motor home and tow vehicle. Easy to maneuver in and out. Not a lot of amenities and the laundry consists of one washer and one dryer. Would love to come back. Accepting Passport America was a bonus.
