Great campground for large RVs
By user-6331991... on 2017-10-23.
You can't really go wrong with this place. Large lots lots with lots of space. Fairly decent wifi, two pools, one right on the waterfront. Would definitely come back.

Very nice, clean park. Level, concrete, back-in, FHU site. Fairly close to neighbor, but okay. Vegetation between sites offers some privacy. There is a marina which offers a nice ambiance. Some sites are waterfront. Good Verizon cell coverage. Lots of TV channels, but the WiFi was pretty non-existent. Had to use my own. Restaurant on site. Didn't eat there, so can't offer a review. Would stay here again.

Great location and staff March/April 2017
By user-6146824... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed at site 156 with FHU...Site is extra large with nice trees and bushes, which provided a privacy fell. FHU with cable worked great and WiFi was strong. Overall, it's an extremely clean and we'll maintained RV resort. As many mentioned, crossing 287 to go into town is a pain, relative to traffic flow, but the location still great. I plan to return.

Very nice park. Great landscaping. Good wifi. The only problem we had was access to the main road - traffic is horrible most times of day making access difficult. There was no access to the Hilton Head bike paths

Great resort with unusual selection!
By user-5789837... on 2017-10-23.
This resort has a touch of something different. Each camping spot is individually owned and therefore, setup a little differently. Upon arrival, you get a list of available locations and you get to drive a golf cart around to pick your spot. Some are basic with just a table, and some are decked out with tables, fire pits, and beautiful flower gardens. All spots are concrete parking which is very nice. Camp hosts were friendly. Store and pools are conveniently located. Fishing pier is nice, but only big enough for about 5-6 people. Fishing charter/water tours available right from the resort! We will definitely be back!

Unique and Great

We have been travelling in the RV for about 18 months now and have visited many RV resorts East of the Mississippi. This is the first one that hands you keys to a golf cart to drive around and choose your site upon arrival. All the sites are very different. We were lucky and got a beautiful waterfront site. It had a huge concrete pad. Seriously, some parks would have made two sites out of the real estate we occupied. I was disappointed when we got settled and the rules said I could not go onto the dock behind the site or fish from it. That should have been told to me upfront because those thoughts were running through my head. We loved staying cool in the waterfront pool and watching dolphins in the bay. Fishing in the bay on the adjacent County Pier was fun and we caught sharks, rays, crabs, and some other fish I still have not identified. If you have a fishing kayak, do not leave it at home!
I did notice traffic was heavier than some parks and a few idiots drove fast, but I felt comfortable letting my 13 year old ride his bike around the park.
The staff was very nice and the little store seemed well stocked.
Traffic on the main road outside the park is horrible. You are at the mercy if kind strangers to let you pull out at several times during the day.
We found nothing special about eating out in the area so it was nice to grill at our beautiful site.

Nice

We got a waterfront campsite but I would go for an interior next time. Waterfront lots very small and no shade. Interior lots much larger and most have lots of trees. Pool is not heated so forget about it during spring and summer.

Awesome resort!
By user-5624616... on 2017-10-23.
Spent a week here for our 30th anniversary. Beautiful sites. Check In very easy with friendly staff. They allow you to ride in golf cart to pick your site. We picked one by the harbor and our view was fantastic. Many sites have decks by harbor. Other sites have patio furniture and very shady lots. Very well maintained lots. Will definitely return here!

Went there for our 27th anniversary. One of the cleanest campsites I've ever been to. we live on a hilton head so this was a treat to visit HHI and act like a tourist and my fuel expense was great (2 gal) incredible site on harbor.

As previously stated, you get to chose which site you want. The park is well kept and they allow all types of RVs, not just motorcoaches. No dirt, dust or sand to track in and out. I would certainly stay here again.

You'll be hooked on this place. Classy, clean, friendly and affordable.

RV Resort

This is a resort. When you arrive they give you a golf cart and tell you to pick your site. Most of the sites are owned and they rent them when the owners are away, so most are landscaped differently. The roads are paved and curbed, site pads are concrete and large. There is a salt water pool that overlooks the inlet along with a marina and restaurant that is pen for dinner. The shower houses are nice and cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Love this place! It unique because each site is privately owned. They provide you with a golf cart and you get to go pick whatever spot your heart desires. The owners are competing for your business so they make their spots really nice. We were only supposed to stay 2 nights but extended to 4. Only downside is the pool wasn t heated.

Beautiful and clean park...one of the prettiest we ve stayed at. Small dog walking area. Nice pool and great restaurant. Very clean and modern bathhouses. Only complaint is there is really no beach access or a nice place to walk or anything to do besides rentals they offer near the docks. Expensive for a stopover.

This was an absolutely beautiful resort. The management was very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond for us by blow up the tires on our jogging stroller. Customer service is top notch. Very dog friendly. We did pay extra to have a water front site, which was stunning, but the only downside is you are not given access to the docks. Very large concrete pad with full hook up and level site. Will definitely return if we come back to HHI.

This was a great resort. The sites were large and all paved with lots of space. The restaurant on site was excellent food and service. Dog wash was an extra special treat. Access in and out was good as long as you were patient with the heavy traffic. Definitely would stay again!

Each site is slightly different but all big enough for big rigs. The hot tub was hot and the pool warm. Beautiful bay. About 20 minute drive to the beach.
