Nice park
By user-5871638... on 2017-10-23.
We pulled in around 7:30pm on a Sunday evening. Plenty of sites available. We chose a site that backed to the woods, and within minutes saw a pileated woodpecker. Pretty cool. Sites are level and well spaced. We have electric, and water and dump station are available. $20 per night with site w/electric. $10 for site w/o electric. About 5 miles off of Rt 74.

Really beautiful and peaceful

Nice level sites, well spaced among old trees and dense forest. Found some good walking paths. Picnic bench and fire pits seem standard. Warm showers. Heaven.

No water! We wanted to top off our fresh water tank before leaving in the morning and found there was no water in the park. We were told that they thought they had a broken pipe somewhere. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon, but I probably wouldn't stay there in the next couple weeks, just to be sure. No one in the office when we arrived or when we left, so probably hard to call ahead to check on water situation.

Lots of old trees and shade. Planning on making this a park we want to spend several days here next year. Hike Inge trails are awesome. The hike we took we walked up on a doe and a flock of turkeys. Showers could be updated some but plenty of hot water. Site were fairly level. We were pulling a boat with a pickup camper.

Beautiful place

Do not follow your GPS! When you exit interstate go north not south. The signs will get you here.
Very private sites, many unoccupied. We prefer state parks to the private ones, nice for one night or a week.
