Roadway
By user-6089116... on 2017-10-23.
Just be careful when parking some of the roads and parking spots have deep pot holes. The first two rows facing shed aren't bad. Rest of park be careful.

Not bad.
By user-5329965... on 2017-10-23.
I was expecting the worse but was surprised. The price of 20 bucks was cheap enough for a full hookup site with very good Wifi. The valet picks you up at site and you pay him for your site. I had breakfast for less than McDonalds including Eggs, Bacon Potatoes and toast less than $5.00. The staff was very nice. I will stay here again if in vicinity.

Could be a lot better!
By user-6515821... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed in a 43' motorhome. Found the roads to be deplorable and the sites to be in need of general maintenence and repairs. Some young trees planted at the ends of the rows cause many people to swing extra wide into the soft ground causing more surface damage and road debris. Some eoad damage has caused water line damage which keeps several sites wet all the time. Other than the poor facility comdition, road noise day and night and recent increase in price to $30, it is an adequate place to pull into for one night. If they would put some time and effort into their RV Park they might get travelers to stay and play.

2017 Price Change
By user-5242075... on 2017-10-23.
2017 Price has dropped to $20.00 per day. The roads and most concrete pads have been fixed. The geese and their poop are gone. Cable TV works great and the Wi-Fi is now 18 mbps download if you are in the first row next to the metal building. They now have a drop box to pay or you can go inside the casino to the gift store and pay with a credit card.

Improved Park
By user-6089116... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 10-5-16 and was currently improving the roadways with asphalt along with updated and new concrete slabs. RV sites are level and choice of Wi-fi at Pilot station or casino. Dropped rate for everyone to $20 a night. Downside is bright marquee light on 1-35 and continuous train noise all night. Nice stop between Des Moines and Kansas City.

Decent price FHU Level sites
By user-4626260... on 2019-08-09.
Aug 2018, still $20/nite 14 consecutive day stay limit. Decent place to overnite, conveniently located off I35 exit. FHUs, tons of digital cable tv channels, like more than 106! Bravo, APL, ESPN, FOX, TLC, LMN, A&E etc. Long concrete level sites with tree and picnic table, some sites have broken concrete or a pothole. Grass. Lake looks full of mosquitos. If you have $20 cash, use dropbox or hotel guest services for credit card. Wifi in row F (about 2 rows from bldg was adequate. Fit 31ft motorhome plus tow car in 1 site. TMobile has low reception here.

Great stop for two nights
By user-5867945... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-12-24 to 2018-12-26
Great place in southern Iowa. Electric, sewer, and cable only during winter months, but they have a hydrant to top off your fresh water tanks before unhooking at your site. Level sites and location right off of I-35. If you like the sounds of trains, you will like this campground. With family in the area, we will be returning. Christmas buffet was good, but ran around $20.

Disappointed this time
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
We've stayed here more than once before, but this time we were a bit disappointed. Need to call to get shuttle from park to casino/restaurant/hotel. Spent 20 minutes trying to get someone who would send the shuttle. The buffet was not nearly as good as the previous times. And, lastly, they moved the place to pay for the RV space from the gift shop, which is right beside the restaurant, to the hotel which is all the way to the other end of the building. They should we should just drive down there. I've already parked my RV in the park, not at the restaurant. The person who shuttled us back to our RV told us we can now register and pay online. We had not seen this option.
Still, it is a good one night's stay, but we won't again push ourselves to get here as we did today.
