Best Ever!

By far the nicest RV park I've ever visited and I've been motor-homing now for 42 years, all over the country. Level, deep concrete pads, high end electric/cable pedestals, heavy duty handicapped access picnic tables and the best fire/cookout rings I've ever seen. Restrooms and showers are spotless. Sites are manicured daily. Near downtown and even a coffee shop within easy walking distance. The engineering on this place is exquisite - precise detail that affords retaining much of the natural wooded beauty of the land but easy access even for big rigs. There are a full pull through spots but most are back in. There are also 6 tent spaces with table and electric post. Right on beautiful Lake Michigan with a clear view of the lighthouse.

Excellent park and amenities. Good power and water. Sewer line is at the back end of the pad and power pedestal and was not reachable in Site 1, a pull through, without an extension. That is about the only complaint that anyone could have.

A Real Gem
By user-5268742... on 2017-10-23.
Have been on the road camping for the past 6 mos from Maryland to Florida to Alaska and back to the lower 48. This had to be one of the best campgrounds we've encountered. Brand new by the looks of it. Concrete pads, full hookups, clean new restrooms and showers and laundry. No pool but there is a playground for kids. Right on the shore of Lake Michigan. Easy walk to a great cafe, art gallery and shop . A bit farther walk into town but do able. Town has lots to do as well as a fish hatchery and a fish water Springs a short drive away. Definitely a great place to visit in the U.P. of Michigan!

OUTSTANDING RV PARK

RV Park has all the amenities - water, sewage, power, perfectly level concrete pad, deep sites, Cable and Wi-Fi work well. Sits right on Lake Michigan and has beautiful views! Great place to stay for overnight when passing through the area. Nothing really to do in the town in the way of restaurants or entertainment.
Real highlight of the area is this RV park - which is exceptional!

Nice campground!

Sites are spaced out. Very clean bathrooms and well maintained grounds. We walked to town and used the boardwalk/path along Lake Michigan.

Wonderful and almost brand new campground 50 sites right on the shore of Lake Michigan. Paved streets throughout and huge cement pads with grass everywhere. Cable (30 analog channels) and all amenities. I would highly recommend this campground which is very big rig friendly but just a little pricey at $60/night for pull through.

Nicest campground in northern Michigan. The other reviews are accurate. Great campground; quiet, clean, and sites are a great size. Camped over Labor Day and the campground was full and very quiet; not your typical state park crowd. Going back for sure. My new jayco TT was the cheapest rig in the park. :)

All the others are right! Best campground we have EVER been to, and we'll have all 48 under our belt after this trip. $40, $45, and $60 for sites, depending on how close to the lake. Walking distance to deli, gas, and quick mart AND lighthouse!!!.

Nice But
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
This is a nice park but it has gone down hill since we stayed here last year..
To much traffic from non campers and locals using the shower that I would not trust.
Cable tv is not that good and the wi/fi is touch and go.....Using our sat is only good if I use my portable as where the RV is parked no signal..
Do not get me wrong this place is nice it just needs some TLC.
