This was one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in. Nice big sites. Very clean restrooms and showers. Has a laundry. What gave this park 5 stars is the big fenced off dog runs. This is a big plus for us traveling with pets. And Meteor Crater is great too. A+++++

Easy on, easy off, clean and well maintained.

On our way east and decided to pull off I 40 to see meteor site. I. Sure glad we stayed here. Sites are spacious and can accommodate large rigs. We didn't even have to unhook our tow rig. Has a coded gate to entrance of park. Very easy to maneuver into. Gravel sites with full hookups and a picnic table. Restrooms Were Very Clean and private. Had washer and dryers that worked great. Downside is it's a drive from town but at least they have some supplies at the office. The office also has a Mobil one gas station next to it. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and very close to Meteor Crater. Staff was friendly and we would definitely stay there again. We traveled with kids and pets in a Class A.

Stopped on our way from California to Texas and loved it. Nice sites and wonderful staff. A definite stop for us in the future.

If you're traveling down I40 near Petrified National Park this is the place to stay. Really nice staff, big roomy sites and a great area for you dog to play. While there be sure to visit the Meteor Crater and don't miss the Painted Desert / Petrified Forest.

We stayed here 2 nights in a 40 foot motorhome. Reasonably priced, clean and well maintained park with trees, several grassy areas to walk the dog and two large fenced dog runs. Sites are level gravel some with full hook ups. others, the one we stayed in, have only water and electric. Visited meteor crater with a coupon received at check in for a $2/person discount. Also as a park user we were able to fill up at the attached mobile station for a discount of 5 cents per gallon. It adds up when filling a large tank!! Wi fi was excellent as was cell phone reception. Even tho it is located just off I 40 there was little traffic noise. Staff were helpful, accommodating and pleasant to meet. Nice place to stay...would definitely recommend stopping here!!!

The gravel sites were very well maintained, but the water pressure was a bit low. There was some train noise, but not too bad as it was a couple miles away. Spotty Wi-Fi reception too. But the views were quite nice, and only a short drive to Flagstaff, or Winslow in the opposite direction. Of course there’s the Meteor Crater and Sedona a little linger drive, and still a bit longer drive the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest and of course, the Grand Canyon. The staff was friendly and helpful. I think you’ll enjoy your stay here.

The park is nice, good dog park, and lots to do around. Only suggestion I would have is for the lobby to carry info about all the great spots to visit. The Hopi reservation is supposed to be nice, but we could not find the main attraction because all we had was a map.

A lot better than I expected. Clean. Just close the gates before cattle wonder in...

Everything I have heard about this campground is true. Entire campground is well maintained and 100% clean. Bathrooms are spotless. Personel are friendly. Highly recommend for one night or longer stay.
By user-5331558... on 2017-10-23.
Very well designed and maintained with lots of mature trees. Camping fee includes a fuel discount at their station as well as a couple bucks off admission to see the crater. We should be so lucky to find a park this good everyday as we head east.
By user-5211522... on 2017-10-23.
Very quiet considering how close it is to I40. Very clean park with beautiful views. Large fenced dog run. Wifi worked great.
By user-5795539... on 2017-10-23.
When we first arrived, they had the wrong dates on our arrival and departure (we are caravanning with another motorhome). They did work hard at finding us a place. They actually assigned us two sites that are reserved for their employees. The site I was in did not allow me to use my satellite because of a tall tree and the site was a little tight. The RV park is very clean and the employees are very friendly. It is a quiet park except for the occasional barking dog - I blame that on the dog owners. It is a good place to watch the stars. I would normally have given this place a 5 star rating; however, the WiFi is horrible.

This is a clean RV park, nice bathrooms, but there is not much around. It was perfect for our stop over so we could do laundry, and catch up on rest before hitting the road. The laundry area closes at 8:30 pm which was inconvenient, but fortunately there were 3 machines and we were the only people using them. We visited the crater before checking in to the RV park which was a huge mistake. They offer coupons inside the RV park. The store is limited, so if you need groceries be sure to stop in Flagstaff!
By user-5882699... on 2017-10-23.
We weren't sure what to expect, but we were very happy with our stay. The sites are level and spacious with some shade trees. Some sites had amazing sunset views. We were at site 14 which is a larger site with a few shade trees. Very easy to get to, but after 7 the main gate is locked and you have to use a side entrance. I really liked the bathroom setup. Very private and clean. WiFi was ok. Very close to the crater.
By user-5844032... on 2017-10-23.
We stayed here in a 32 foot motorhome with a tow. This is our second stay here, and it is a nice park. Nice clean shower rooms with lots of privacy. This park is really in the middle of nowhere so make sure you have groceries bought before you arrive. The Meteor Crater is well worth seeing, and so is The Corner in Winslow! Will stay here again.
By user-6004773... on 2017-10-23.
Clean, well maintained. Great fenced dog area. Miles from civilization so it has AWESOME night sky views.
By user-5801703... on 2017-10-23.
Mile and miles and miles of nothing to see and off in the distance you see a small stand of trees. That is where Meteor Crater RV Park is located. I was hesitant but was pleasantly surprised. Nice people, clean park, showers, laundry and quiet. And a gas station to boot. They give discount coupons if you stay here. Would stay again.
By user-4924476... on 2017-10-23.
This is a great park just off freeway but quite. Sites are large enough for all rigs. No cable but has gas and diesel on site as well as a very well stocked store. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the park is clean. Stayed here in a 39 foot fifth wheel with three slides.

This was one of the nicest parks we've stayed in, and totally unexpected in this desert area. It is about 20 miles from any town, but just up the road from the Meteor Crater attraction. The park has very spacious lots, and plenty of room to maneuver a big rig. You notice the park from miles away on the highway because of the lovely trees. The park is neat and clean and well landscaped. Many of the sites have only water and electric, so be sure to reserve a site ahead of time if you desire to be hooked up to sewer. We called a day ahead and the staff was very kind to rearrange the schedule so we could have a large site with sewer. We also decided to visit the Meteor Crater, as long as we were so close. We were impressed with the museum explaining all that went on to discover the origins of the crater.

We stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. We were in our 32 ft motor home. Check in and easy and the staff was extremely friendly. We wanted to see the Meteor that was 6 miles down the road and got a couple of coupons while checking in. We got a full hook up site but when we saw the bathrooms we decided to use theirs. Bathrooms were probably one of the most cleanest we have seen. The park itself is very clean and neat. The sites are gravel but they are raked and packed. We had no problem leveling. Two clean dog parks that are fenced in and fairly large. Most importantly, no screaming kids. Seemed to be more like an adult place, however we did come on an off day. Overall, super great place!

Nice and clean. Easy in and out. As good as any KOA and relatively new. Easy access to MC facility.
By user-5903629... on 2017-10-23.
Well maintained park. Easy off the I40 but not right next to it. Friendly staff. Large pull thru sites on gravel. Would definitely stay again.

This park is very nice well maintained in the middle of nowhere... If you're passing through or going to the meteor crater this is perfect place to stay... bathrooms and showers were very clean and secured... J & D 40' MH with tow vehicle
By user-5882699... on 2017-10-23.
Even after doing good research I wasn't sure what we'd be getting. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Nice sites. Definitely not a parking lot style. Some sites had shade and some have views, all were quiet. Shower rooms are nice, big, and clean. I loved the tshirts of the ufo pulling a trailer.

We needed to stop just overnight and now wish we could stay longer. This park is LOVELY. Stayed in a 35 ft. Motorhome with a tow. All sites are pull-thru. We never had to unhitched.

We had to stay overnight after we got a flat tire on our rig. Staff was so friendly and accommodating, park was clean and well kept.

Loved this park. Clean, well maintained. Loved that the showers are individual rooms, it’s nice to be able to spread out and shower when traveling with 5 people. Our family used the concrete pad and deserted side road to get a run and workout in. Convenience store/gas station attached is great for a quick pick me up. Traveled on down to the meteor crater the next day, definitely worth the price if you are an adventurer in awe of the world.

We are on our way from Sante Fe to Flagstaff. Our friends suggested we stay at this park. We arrived early and checked in. They gave us discount tickets to the crater. Wasn't expecting too much at the crater but I was very surprised. It was a real life learning experience and the crater is awesome. Enjoyed it fully. The park is really really nice. The only park we have stayed at that has real grass. Slots are spacious, and WiFi is good. TV is minimal but we had our own dish. Our dogs enjoyed the dog run.

Can’t say enough good things! Super quiet, clean, spacious. I used the laundry and bathrooms and they were both great. Got a discount coupon to the crater which we used the next day. Super nice gal checked us in.

The nicest bathroom/showers in any park, Individual rooms and lockable. Very nicely maintained and clean. Helpful checkin guy. Gave $2 discount for Meteor Crater which we used. Also gas discount for onsite gas. The stars at night are amazing. Just missing a pool and cable. Paid $35 with AAA discount. We stay here again.

This park is a little Hidden Gem. Very clean and level campsites that are graveled. It is very easy to move around within the park that is secured buy Gates and Camp security. The folks at the General Store in the front were very friendly and very helpful. They also have very nice showers and bathroom stalls available and good running washers and dryers that cost $1. 75 a load. They have a clubhouse in the front with free coffee, books and movies. You are also within 6 miles of the Meteor Crater Museum that is just down the road and is definitely worth checking out. I would highly recommend this RV Park and it was a great pleasure staying here.

Clean park, friendly staff, we didn't use the restrooms. Has two shower houses. Gated in front, wire fencing surrounding it. Two large dog parks but had weeds growing inside which caused concern for snakes and/or scorpions. Would be nice if one was located on the west side both ate side by side in the northwest corner of the park. Gravel sites with picnic table. Would return again. We stayed in site 59, using water and electric only.

Pro - Great stop to see Meteor Crater, very easy park to maneuver in & very clean. We were put in FHU gravel site 16, that was plenty big enough for our 42' rig. We had room to unhook and park the truck. The site was normal for RV spacing between neighbors. The park Wi-fi was excellent and we used our dish for TV. The office had a store for supplies and a Mobile station attached that had both Diesel & Gas. The showers and laundry were very nice and clean and they had a dog run. They have discounts for Meteor Crater Park. Delta - No cable TV, could hear a little hwy noise from I-40 which is close. If you need Diesel fuel you can take a nap waiting for your tank to fill (slowest pumps I've ever seen), not sure how the gas pumps are. Shower water was not the hottest. Would definitely stop here again!!
By user-6577033... on 2019-08-09.
The folks who run this RV park are the nicest. The bathroom and showers we're clean and the water hot! The rooms are individual so you are not sharing with anyone. We we're in #5 because we are short but all are drive-thru and very nice.

Well kept, all pull through sites. Leveled and groomed regularly. Nice staff, roaming security. Road noise is evident but wasn't an issue. Discount at the Crater and on fuel available. A little pricey bit worth the stay.

Stayed 3 nights, close to highway, gas/convenient store at campground. Able to park trailer and visit Winslow and Flagstaff day trips. Clean bathhouse. Gravel lot, nice space between trailers. Two nice dog fenced area, allows to run freely with areas. Well maintained.

If you are looking for a posh RV park with pools, clubhouses, etc., keep driving and looking. If you are happy with clean, basic, quiet, well-maintained, this is the place. It is an oasis just off I-40 between Flagstaff and Winslow. We ve stayed here twice for an overnight and recommend it. It offers a Good Sam discount, fuel discounts at the convenience store, and discounts for admission to Meteor Crater.
