A friendly KOA park in Eastern MT
By user-5820870... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2016-09-01 to 2016-09-02
After a drive through terrain that looked pretty much the same today, this small KOA park was a welcome respite. Four of RV's arrived at pretty much time but the friendly and competent staff knew what to do to keep the wait down and provide a warm welcome. This park is well-treed and well-kept for shade in most sites (our choice) with some full sun options. Easy to navigate, park and set up to FHU. We were just here for the night but noticed this park had a small pool, activity and socializing area along with a playground for children. We would stay here again as a comfortable landing for a one or two night stay while on a longer road trip.

Okay stay... nice people

Stayed 2016-07-16 to 2016-07-19
This is a pretty typical park... good sites, not great. The sites were long enough, but a little tight. Maybe it's the trees or the layout, but it felt more crowded than it should have. The facilities are clean and there is a pool. It had good cable TV.
The WiFi was useless.
There isn't much to see in town, except the Range Riders Museum... which was pretty decent.

COME IN FROM I 94 ON EXIT 135
By user-6523798... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2016-07-16 to 2016-07-17
Make sure you come in from exit 135 because if you come in from town there is a 11'3" BRIDGE!
If you come through town there is a truck route but it is tricky.
We stayed in a 38' motor home. Older park with some trees. 30 amp, water and sewer. Needed jacks. $41.30 with KOA discount. We drove through Theodore Roosevelt National Park, bad lands. Absolutely amazing. Make sure you stop on your way to Miles City going West.
We would stay again as long as we knew about Exit 135.

Great stop
By user-5729299... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed just for a night. Seems this location is a popular along the way stop for many. Wifi worked great. Kids played in pool and the trees provided some relief from the hot temps.

Very quiet and close to the historical downtown. Friendly staff. Costed us 45$ for a full hook up.

Very nice campground

Stayed 2018-08-23 to 2018-08-24
This is such a nice campground; filled with huge, majestic trees, spacious sites, and a very nice dog park and spotless showers. They actually show you to your site and point out the hook ups, answer questions. Very pleasant staff and stay. We would stay there again. There was a rather zealous train horn blasting in the early morning hours, but it was fine. Great for overnight stay.

Great KOA
By user-5885959... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-06-26 to 2019-06-28
Beware that there are two exits off I-94. The eastern exit will take your through the main street in town and there is a overhead bridge with 11 4 clearance. PAY ATTENTION! There is a truck route around this bridge or you can just exit off the interstate from the western exit to town and avoid the bridge altogether.

Very nice people

Stayed 2019-06-29 to 2019-06-30
Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. All but one site is pull through and fairly level. And if you set your trash out at front of campsite by 11:00 am they pick it up for you! As we were getting ready to go, we saw they were checking out all the recently vacated sites. Showers and bathroom very clean.
