Great Stargazing
By user-5268742... on 2017-10-23.
New RV campground. This is a beautiful spot, quiet and away from other commercial stuff so if you like to stargaze this is a wonderful place to stay. Owners are still working on adding amenities but right now just full hookup. No restrooms no showers. They have a grassy area and plan to get restrooms and showers soon for tent campers. Would definitely stay here again. $30 full hookup.

Cheap but not special
By user-5809539... on 2017-10-23.
30$-35$. No toilets. Empty country. The view is nice for some moments but there is not realy mutch to do. Some activitis by the Indians are possible, but very expensive in my opinion. We payed (pecause we booked) and left this place without sleeping there. I would have given 2 points, but its just my taste. So i gave 3.
It was not our taste. So we went on.

Getting off the ground

Stayed 2017-05-25 to 2017-05-29
We stayed here for 4 days while visiting the Monument Valley and other parks in the area. They have only been open for 1 month but have the necessities if you have an RV. There is no shower or bathroom structure but with full hookup I never use that anyway. The road and sites have now been graveled and they have grass between some of the sites.

This campground is just getting going. But the sites are large and the staff was friendly and helpful. Not many amenities but if you just need a hookup spot it's great!

That's THE place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of Monument Valley. The park is new and offers what no other does: incredible views. David and his wife were very welcoming. We will return for a full week for sure. Don't miss this one!!!!!

We stayed 1 night mid August. Self catering setup required. 2 honey buckets available. Shower cabins under construction. About to raise more green space. No infrastructure around the park. Hookups working well. Worth to get up early to marvel sunrise. $45 (deluxe)

I really enjoyed my stay at this campground. Very friendly and helpful. No shade trees yet but the views are really great. Great access to Monument Valley. No TV or wifi but great sunrises and sunsets.

Spent 2 nights. New camoground that is still being developed. Adjacent to hwy but little noise. Spent about an hour talking to owner who is anxious to provide an excellent service to those using his campground. Looking forward to returning in spring.

Great Location
By user-6159825... on 2018-07-06.
We were very happy with the park when we stayed here in September. It had comfortable sites it's in a quiet environment, with great views of Monument Valley. Now I just went to book a reservation for next week and it seems KOA has taken it over and their prices seem to have gone up 50% already. Very disappointed to see this has become a KOA. When I was young man KOA meant good value. Now it seems KOA wants to charge top dollar.

Beautiful setting
By user-5280788... on 2018-07-06.
Just getting set up as a KOA. Very friendly people in the office. Gorgeous views of Monument Valley! Easy in, out. Packed gravel, very level sites. Will definitely stay here again. No cable, no antenna tv stations but who needs tv when you have these views and stars!

Good potential
By user-4596359... on 2019-08-09.
Great location with good, level, spacious sites. Lots of rental RVs come speeding through. They desperately need speed bumps and rules line quiet hours. No sign of management presence.
Gave 4 stars based on location and good campsites.
With some grass, a few trees and speed bumps, will be great place.

Nice location with great views
By user-4557135... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-09-28 to 2018-10-02
Most sites are level, all gravel, and some attempts to grow grass (hard to do here). WIFI sucks, bathrooms look nice (I don't use them), kide of tight for big rigs. Trees have been planted recently so there is no shade yet. Picnic tables. Donkeys roaming through, but staff cleans up after them, grocers only a few miles away. I thought it was worth about $40 - $45/ night. We paid $50.

Good place to stay
By user-6409418... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-10-13 to 2018-10-16
Owners still working to improve sites but they're fairly level. Somewhat tight fit for big rigs but our short class A and Jeep Liberty fit well. Fairly quiet at night even though close to highway. Would stay here again if in area.

Basic but nice, with large lots
By user-5380366... on 2019-08-09.
Very friendly staff, great location and nice wide lots with fire pit. Pretty barren which is expected given Monument Valley. Great for star viewing at night as no light pollution.

Spectacular views.
By user-6004773... on 2019-08-09.
Wonderful manager and staff. New park so stuff is in good shape. Off-leash dog run. Nothing fancy, but perfect for this setting. Cell service (Verizon) was sketchy in all of MV. Internet at the park was poor to non-existent. They have everyone sharing one Hughes net connection. Just not enough bandwidth for all the guests. Not too many options this far off the grid.

Nice Place to stay Visiting Monument Valley
By user-4583117... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-04-21 to 2019-04-24
Monument Valley and surrounding area has spectacular scenery. You can't see it all in a day. The KOA is nice but has little shade. Pull thru sites are large with full services. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is gas, groceries, car wash, and restaurants available in the area.

Good experience
By user-4894089... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-07-30 to 2019-07-31
All gravel park, lots of recently planted trees but only 4-6' high, no shade. Pads fairly level but closely packed. 4 separate community bathrooms with toilet, lavatory, & shower. Jeep and horse rental, a small store and decent laundry on-site. Staff warm and accommodating. Tremendous views in virtually every direction. This place is definitely worth dropping anchor for a day or two.
