We stayed there for only one night. The campground is next to an industrial area. The routes are paved, the sites are gravel and very dusty. The sanitary facilities are not in good shape and need renovation. If you have everything on board, you can stay there for a short time. The beach is not easily accessible and uninviting. The campground is not worth the price.

Easy in and out. Easy hookup. Quiet. Walking to the sandy beach and beautiful views.

We love this park. This is the only RV park that's close to the beach (walking distance) and where you can walk your dog. We get a space in a well setup cul-dusac. The front office is always helpful with simple general store stuff, and the park is well set up. The first time we visited in our 19' Bambi, the toilet stopped working and they had an onsite repair service that was quick and inexpensive. Saved the day for us on our first trailer trip. They have a good dog park that's clean and centrally located, a clean, good sized bathroom, and laundry facilities. His is our year round 'go-to' spot in Morro Bay.

Tight, yet level spaces. Great views, if another trailer isn’t blocking said view. Site are very close to each other (they really cram you in) Fire pits and picnic table at sites. Dog Friendly. Some sewage odor, from the water treatment plant next-door. Convenient beach access, the beach literally across the street. The restrooms could use some updating and a real good cleaning. Operational laundry rooms. No pool, no playground Who needs a pool or a playground when you have miles of beach directly across the street?!

This is amazing place! Laundry, dump, water, wifi, hospitality. And what a view ❤️

The best location in Morro Bay. Yes it's on same road as water treatment plant, but that was never a problem. In fact it was a bonus, no traffic on a one way st. The dunes are across the street, and the ocean waves can be heard easily. Fantastic wild life watching, great sunsets and nice people. Wish we could have stayed longer but was fully booked over Labor Day.

I've stayed here several times. Very nice and helpful people. They have a repair shop onsite. A small store with the basics and a few repair parts. Sites are always clean, fire pits at every spot. They allow tents beside Rv they have heated showers and bathrooms. Laundromat onsite. The waterfront is only 50 yards away. Drawbacks are its next to a waste water treatment plant so on occasion the odors creep over. There is no night security so when other travelers get loud they require u to call police.

Right at Morro Rock, this is a very well run large RV park. Beautiful bike/walking path to Morro Bay town with dozens of quaint shops and restaurants. We had Elect(50A)/W/S. The sites don't have trees, but don't need them, since it is always cool on the Pacific. A half hour earlier it was 108* in Paso Robles, but now 66* here in Morro Bay. Amazing 42 degrees lower! We really like this place. Don't know why there aren't more reviews.

As others have mentioned, sometimes there's a minor whiff from the treatment plant, but nothing terrible. They really seem to try hard to make it nice -- gravel sites get raked between campers, and trash cans are emptied daily (and there are a ton of them!) It's not fancy, I agree, but very well maintained including a decent dog run that even has a mantrap! One word of warning is that if you don't have a car, make sure you have most of what you need -- there's very little that's walking distance (the store has enough essentials to keep you going, but unlike many of the campgrounds in Pismo Beach, you aren't going to walk to Pizza/burgers/ice cream/whatnot). We would stay there again.

While not tucked away in the California wilderness, it's a short walk to beautiful Morro Bay and local eateries. The staff at the park were helpful and kind. All in all, a very comfortable stay with free hot showers, laundry, and clean facilities.

Great location right across the road from Morro Bay. Easy to get to from the highway. Nice enough park, but very tight for bigger rigs.

This is a large RV park located right across the street from the beach and "The Rock". There's a bike path just outside the park gate and we took our bikes into town and all along the beach. Amazing location! The park is immaculate and the laundry & restroom facilities are well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this park.

This lace is so close to the beach, with easy access to the beach, and now the new walkway path to waterfront restaurants. This is our go-to spot on Morro Bay. The spaces are clean and spacious for a big park. The front desk folks are friendly and there's a little store for forgotten items. Thirst time we took out our 19' Bambi, the toilet stopped working and their onsite repair service was quick and inexpensive. The bathroom/showers are clean, a little out dated, but nothing to worry about. Have never used the laundry facilities, but they're available. The dog run is good sized and clean with poop-bags available when you forget your own.

Next door to a sewage treatment plant for Morro Bay. Claims dog friendly but suggests that you take the pet across the street. Staff somewhat nonexistent except to find fault with practically anything. Problem is not much else in the area.

It's got the best location...right on the beach..walk to restaurants and morro rock but.... it is very windy so best to be next to the fence..Also..right next to the sewer plant do if the wind changes its really bad. Nice rest rooms and showers. The sites are mostly paved and gravel so a bit dusty.. no trees or landscaping. Still, it's the best one in Morro Bay
By user-5810916... on 2018-03-14.
And they won’t admit it. Sewer treatment plant smell is sickening when the wind is wrong and the management can’t smell it cause they’ve been here so long. Beach is nearby. Walking Embarcadero Street is nice.

We have been coming here for years. This year we made a reservation a year in advance to celebrate our anniversary in Morro Bay, and we were given a card to confirm our reservation for the 30th of May thru June 5th. On the way from Southern California, my wife decided to call just to be sure of the reservation since the only confirmation we had was that card that we were given by the older dark haired lady when we made the reservation a year ago. A lady named “Sharla” answered and my wife explained that she was just calling to confirm our reservation since the only confirmation we had was the card. Sharla said that we had no reservation and that “someone” had called in March and cancelled the reservation. (We did not call) Sharla asked our name and found us in the computer. She asked the dates that we reserved the space. When my wife gave her the dates, she said “Oh, I found your reservation!” Sharla said “We’re all set”. When we arrived were were greeted by a lady with blonde hair. She asked our name and when she looked us up on the computer, she said the space was only reserved leaving on the 2nd (Saturday) instead of the 5th (Monday). My wife explained that we were suppose to have a space reserved until Monday .. the blonde lady (assuming she is a family member since she would not last long working for someone else with her attitude) said “you don’t have reservations” “you changed them yesterday” my wife replied “No, I never changed our reservations yesterday, I called to confirm them yesterday” she said “Well, they are now changed to Saturday morning....Maybe you should look elsewhere if you are not happy with that.” I said Whaat! We have had these reservations for a year and you bumped us? She replied “Would you like me to call security? ...I suggest you find another campground!” I said “Really?” Just then the older lady with Dark hair stepped in. (I’m assuming her mother) She said there is nothing they can do.....just then an elderly man stepped in. She said he was the owner. “You can talk to him if you like”. We stepped outside because we were drawing too much attention from the other campers who were coming in. He said that they have an older computer that sometimes fails to record the correct reservation dates. He said “Sometimes when someone reserves a space for a month, the computer only records one day”. He said..”It’s just something that happens and there is nothing we can do about it” he shrugged his shoulders and said... “things happen”. At that point, I realized that I was talking to someone who truly had no control over his employees (family members), nor his reservation system (a computer that mysteriously changes reservations) no clue as to how to run a campground, and no intention of making this right. His (wife?) stated that they had been in business for over fifty years. (as if that meant they somehow had gained considerable knowledge as to how to run a campground ?). To end our conversation he said “Let me see what I can do for you”....He did nothing. We never heard from him again. To anyone planning to camp here in the future....Please know that your campground space is NOT guaranteed and, depending on the desire of the “employees”, your reserved site may be given to one of their friends, or someone willing to “tip”. (We all know that computer systems work only as good as whomever taps on the keyboard.)

We just showed up with no reservation and stayed 3 nights. We liked it very much, there were heated bathrooms and very nice staff. Very close to the beach and we drove to Hearst Castle from there in 30 minutes because we hat to go inland after that because of the closed part of the Highway 1. You don’t have to pay for showers, but the pressure is just acceptable. We enjoyed our stay anyways.

Visited early January to a pretty full park. Nice folks in the office/little store. Close to beach and nicely kept up. They can pack them in here but plenty of room to maneuver. Expect no sense of privacy here as sites are close together. Not like most Oregon parks. Welcome to CA.

Spaces are tight, they pack in the campers. Weeks ends are wild. Lots of kids on scooters and bikes. In the beach so this is a plus. Was stuck next to the bathrooms for two days then moved to a beach view space.
