Great place for family camping.
By user-5350784... on 2017-10-23.
Have been coming for the last 45 years. New, clean shower houses. Sites next to the beach. WiFi not so good, drops as soon as it connects. Love coming here.

Let's break it down to points:
1- Location, it is located near many great shops ...
2- Very friendly staff and love to accommodate you and get you the best space.
3- lots of spaces to chose from, we were lucky to get a spot that was very close to the beach access and also close to the very clean bathrooms/showers.
4- Many accommodations that would suite many ages and people; lake, arcade, play ground, indoor pool, outdoor pool, lazy river, and kids water play.
5- Beach area spots has it's own private shade and seating that is close to your RV/trailer.
I believe we were very happy we made it here and getting a good spot as well.
cons;
Roads around the spots are not paved and actual spots are not as well.

Family park
By user-5750786... on 2017-10-23.
Unlike most campgrounds in Myrtle this one is my favorite. You get a choice of sun or shade sites. NO site requests so if you plan on arriving with others pray you can get close to them. Bathhouses are clean and air conditioned. Sun sites are on sand between pools and beach, but their nice. Each is pull through with small wood roof over picnic tables. DJ a at the pool on most days, plenty of games for all ages, swim in movie, and if you don't want to cook, a small restaurant by beach. However, sometimes the park is over the top family. The music is censored and the park lacks an adult party atmosphere. Sometimes adults need a place to get away from the kids for awhile and relax, no place here. You can go next door to the high rise hotel and get "vacation" drinks. No golf cart parades so you can walk about and relax, not ruined like other parks in the area that are really overrun with carts. Lock up all outside coolers and refregitor because for last three years kids will raid them looking for beer when you not there - at all hours. Next to a Walmart, Bass Pro down the street with outlet stores. Sometimes reservation desk people are rude but the general employees are nice. During rain puddles form but like the beach it dries out fast. If you have RV issues a roving repair service (pay) is available. This is a nice park so don't let any of my comments discourage you from coming. Book early as the place sells out, a lot in the summer. The park is gated and staffed almost 24/7.

A good park
By user-6357370... on 2017-10-23.
This park strikes a good balance between profit and customer service. The sites are close, yet not packed in like Apache. The WiFi does not cost extra, and works reasonably well. The bath houses seem plentiful and clean. The streets are dirt, and the sites are sandy. We keep a tub of water by the door for rinsing feet before entering the camper. Beach sites are very convenient. The pools are clean. The store is usually well stocked, though WalMart is close by with better prices. Staffers are pleasant and helpful. My one and only complaint concerns weed eaters. They come through early in the day and the wet grass sticks to everything, not to mention the noise.

Best cg in Myrtle Beach imho
By user-2595010 on 2017-10-23.
Great cg, friendly staff, fantastic beach sites with covered tables. The beach bathhouses are very nice with a/c, but the wooded sites have the original old bathhouses. $50 a night just after labor day. Great pools and lazy river. Renovated arcade

The good: beautiful buildings that take care of pretty much any need you could have. Pool and lazy river are in good condition. Great access to the beach. Awning and picnic table at each site. Friendly people check you in.
The bad: rule signs litter the place, but they didn't bother putting up one about kids wearing swimmer diapers so the pool doesn't get closed due to fecal problems within an hour of the sun coming out. Pool attendant had an attitude and gives the impression he aspires to be a mall cop. Strange mix of trailer park permanent residents be vacationers. Probably the least conversation with others in a park. Some drive exceedingly fast through the park. Sewer pipe does not have a screw in connection.

Nice but room for improvement

This is a nice campground with buildings and accommodations. I'm sure peak season this place would be booming but We are here on Nov 3rd and the general store is closed for the winter. The laundromat is open and the indoor pool Is open. Campsites are nice in dry weather but if it rains it holds his water mostly on the side of the door at least on my site. Having said all that I will definitely be back so positives out way the negatives.

Quiet Family Campground
By user-6279538... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-04-08 to 2019-04-12
Stayed at this campground because it is peaceful. We stayed on Site 100 which was relitatively close to the beach. Some of the amenities were not open just yet from the winter but are set to open soon for the summer. The bath houses are modern and clean. The snowbirds had left last week so there were some empty spaces (which helped with the quiet) but we're starting to fill as we were preparing to leave. Our friends that were there said someone was on our space less than 30 minutes after we left. This campground is located on the northern side of Myrtle Beach and is close to restaurants, shows and shopping. WalMart is just up the street as well as Tanger Outle5 Mall. We stayed in a 5th wheel and will definitely return.

Unbelievable quiet trough out the day and night.
Garbage collected every day, excellent showers and clean washroom, good internet right on the beach, try to find negative things but can't find any.
Only regret, 10 days was no enough next time minimum two weeks, since we are 15 hours away driving distance.
