A typical KOA
By user-5882699... on 2017-10-23.
The location is great. This KOA would be great with little kids. If you don't have kids ask to be away from the play areas. The nearby safari park is fun. Go early and drive through many times. Foam henge allows for some fun pics too.

To expensive for just overnight. They charged me $50.

Nice place but...
By user-5807055... on 2017-10-23.
We needed a nice quiet place with full hook ups for on night. We called about 1 1/2 hrs out to make sure they had an available spot. We were charged $57.
Don't count on the internet, it took us forever to connect then its in and out. We wouldn't have cared to much but we had business email to check. We have stayed at camping parks just as nice for $30 and way better internet.

Nice
By user-6719667... on 2017-10-23.
It is a little pricey for overnight but it is well run, clean and the owners are helpful and lovely. For a motor home it was 38.00 for the night. It has propane if you need it. Wifi not very strong at least where we were.

Nice park
By user-642005 on 2017-10-23.
Our family wanted to see the Natural Bridge area so we chose this park due to its location. While we normally do not stay at KOAs due to their price we were impressed by this facility. It has nice forested camping spots, good space between sites and is far enough off the highway to not have road noise. We did not get a chance to try the pool but it looked like it would be fun as well. The kids liked the playground and the dog liked the dog run area. The internet connection was decent and I was able to get Verizon MIFI signal for work. It rained much of the time we were here but the drainage seemed to work well at the park. The sites are gravel and not concrete pads so a little bit of leveling was required. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived later than we expected and while they were closed they were still in the office and escorted us to our site in the dark. I would recommend this park if you are visiting the Natural Bridge area.

Love this place
By user-5253016... on 2017-10-23.
Only stayed one night. Great staff, we got there late as we were watching our daughter in the ODAC final 4 at W&L. The escorted us to our spot and helped us find everything. The drive throughs have their own little decks (which appear to be brand spanking new). Very very happy with the location we are going back for sure. BTW they are upgrading everywhere. Highly recommend.

You come off the exit and go straight across the road into the KOA entrance

We only stayed one night and arrived in the dark. Check in was smooth and we were escorted to our site. The campground is in the woods, and hilly too. My truck was straining to maneuver the hills and winding road through the campground following our escort. The gravel site was not level, but I was able to make it work. The hook-ups were good, nice water pressure too so use a pressure reducer. The Wi-Fi was very, very slow (and not many people here either). Fortunately I have a hot spot phone and was able to just pull in a 4G signal on T-Mobile. The traffic noise was minimal even though the freeway is quite close. You come off the exit and go straight across the road into the KOA entrance. Could not have been any easier!
I would stay again.

Pluses and minuses
By user-5814695... on 2017-10-23.
If a level site is a requirement, keep driving. Also high water pressure caused seals to leak one morning (though not rupture). Left us with water all over floor. People are very friendly and the location is beautiful. Road noise is present as well as construction noise. This is a plus & minus place.

First class facility

The only thing to complain about was the wifi. It was extremely slow and wouldn't let you download a kindle book at any speed. The bath house was excellent; best we have used so far

Good Stop Over

The sites are not level. It's a typical KOA, just OK. Heated restrooms and nice tiled showers. There aren't too many choices in this area, so we were happy to find it on a rainy day.

Nice park

Clean and tidy. Paid 50 dollars march 2. Was glad to find one open year round on our way back to Ontario. Looked good for kids or extended stay

2017 Greyhaven Just passing through
By user-4693425... on 2017-10-23.
Arrived at night around 6pm and was able to chat and register with the hosts even though the office was closed. Very convenient location right across from off ramp Exit 180B southbound I81.
We have a 36' class A and were comfortable in a large premium level site. Other reviews say sites are not level, and sites 1-8 seem very graded and level. Well lit sites, quiet Campground. Grateful they are open year round for Snowbirds.

No complaints here!

Finding a place open this late in the season is a blessing. Got full hook ups - had to drip the facet all night, but nice location, and nice set up, friendly staff. Have yet to spend a night at a 'bad' KOA - they are all nice. Yes, pricey, but they have much to offer for families. We are semi- retirees. John & Paula, Colorado <><

We made a last minute call and was surprised how the staff made a point to accommodate us. When we arrived, we had an escort to lead us to our clean and we'll kept spot. Facilities are clean and staff are great! Hope to be back.

This is one of the cleanest, well maintained parks which goes out of its way to keep the natural setting in the woods while providing level sites for all types of coaches and camping preferences. The pool is clean with plentiful seating for those not wanting to get wet. The recently updated restrooms are spectacular. Very conveniently located to all attractions in the Natural Bridge area yet far enough from the highway not to hear the traffic noise. Truly a gem.

Great little campground

Stayed here just overnight as we were passing thru on a W/E only site. Wish we had gotten in earlier cause we really liked the site and would have loved to have built a fire and hung out. The roads, except our exit road, were in good shape. The overall condition of the campground looked good. Easy to find! We stayed here in 5th wheel.

Stayed here 2 nights to go to Natural Bridge and Monticello. We were in the newly renovated area so no trees, but level sight and the gal on the phone had warned us of the lack of shade. Bath houses were good and easy access for our 31ft Class A towing.

Peaceful and Serene
By user-5286121... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed here for three nights in January. Large, level gravel site with a beautiful view down the valley. Nice store, friendly helpful people, great amenities. Small dog park, nice hiking trail, playground, pool. Easy on and off I 81 but minimal road noise. A peaceful feeling in this park. Lots of trees but none interfere with accessing a site or driving through the park. Beautifully maintained grounds. Spotless washrooms. Close to Lexington and all its history. Worth a visit. We will be back.

OK place, could use some aesthetic maintenance. New campsites at bottom of the hill, where we stayed this time were stark.

We just stopped for the night passing through, but very impressed. Even though it s easy off and right off highway, very quiet. Nicely wooded, variations on the sites, seemed like lots to do. Didn t use facilities. Definitely one of those places I d like to return to for a longer stay.

Bad timing

Got there during a thunder storm. Power was out and raining buckets. Site was so very small (had to move picnic table so traffic could pass), unlevel (\\\\) and gravel. No sewer. Way overpriced at $47.50 for an overnight.

Just a parking lot with utilities
By user-5099288... on 2019-08-09.

Beware of being put in the lower part of the campground which is just a gravel lot with sewer, elect. and water.
The entire place needs a manicure.
