Nice park, lots to do but busy busy busy
By user-5383638... on 2017-10-23.
We stayed there for several days in 2014. We loved the stuff to do but it is busy busy busy.
We considered this as a possible place to retire to but they have a strict NO FIREARMS rule so we will find another community to live in.
It is a very nice park and if you have young ones you will love it.

No peace here!
By user-5657589... on 2017-10-23.
Loudest place I've ever stayed at. Teenagers with golf cars yelling and booming loud music into the late night. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway go somewhere else. You won't find it there!

Great place

Stayed 2017-03-24 to 2017-03-27
Stayed for 3 nights on site with concrete pad close to the ocean. $40/night with AARP. Loved this place. Huge campground with houses, RV pads and tenting. So well organized. Great beach and so many things for kids to do. Activity level mellow for this time of year which suited us fine. More expensive in the summer but not bad considering a beautiful beach is only a few feet away.

Great spot
By user-5798319... on 2017-10-23.
Just left after spending almost a week and loved it. Pools were great and kept kids entertained. As others have said the golf carts are all over but I don't know how you'd get around without one. Will definitely plan on coming back.

The NASCAR of golf cart campgrounds! Overrun with them.

Favorite Vacation
By user-5215371... on 2017-10-23.
My husband and I love this RV resort. Favorite sections for us are sections H and HH. We like to watch the nightly "parade of golf carts." We also love the pool, ice cream snack bar, other amenities, and Sunday worship service. Easy access to Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Mall, outlets, restaurants, and Camping World. We have been vacationing there every year during August since 2006.

Ha !
By user-5799217... on 2017-10-23.
Reviews complain about noise. They wouldn't even allow us to stay because of our bike(only means of transport) Noisy snobs. Apache is quieter, cheaper and allows motorcycles.

Great for families...
By user-5389157... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed in Late March 2014. A city of its own! Lots to do without leaving the property. We were lucky and were located 5 rows from the beach and near the rec center and walking distance from the on site store. Laundry Room was huge and well kept. Little snack bar was tasty! Very nicely kept property. Really enjoyed our stay. Hated to leave! Look forward to our next stay there. Just hope we can get a spot, very popular place!

Ocean Lakes
By user-5235752... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2017-03-19 to 2017-03-23
One of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed in. Every amenity you could dream of but still close to the ocean breezes. You can park and not ever need to leave. The only con could be the number of golf carts trolling in the evenings. It gets to be a parade.

I hate this place
By user-5989136... on 2017-10-23.
We keep getting lost cause there is no maps anywhere, the staff is rude, there is no firepit anywhere the website lied about everything I liked about the camp ground

Most accommodating I've stayed in
By user-6397401... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2015-11-20 to 2015-11-23
The positives are this place has a grocery store with the many essentials and gift shop and it is open year round. Conveniently placed at the restaurant and laundromat. Nice lakes with some access points. Caught I nice bass. We never had to leave the park. Nice swimming area indoors not heated but warm enough for the kids to enjoy. Beach was near most sites and at least two playgrounds for children.
The negatives are it is so big and houses seem to be taking over the place. Golf carts are the chosen transportation which wasn't to bad mid November. We had our bikes and my ten year olds rode around our site block with not ever feeling endangered. Security was always in view and everyone seemed friendly and outgoing.

U love it or hate it!! It is ocean camping at its best no fires! Palm trees if u want fires go to outer banks NC ! Best camp ground in mb sc ! If u don't like the noise go in September when rates r better and kids go back to school ! Concrete sites walk to warm ocean and white sand beach! Dogs allowed on beach in am and again in pm all year!! Do not charge for # of people at your set a great time! Grandkids love the golf carts awesome time always!!

Had a reservation for 9/24/2018. Because of Hurricane Florence I felt uncomfortable driving to park. Because my cancellation was less than 14 days I lost $59 dollars. To me this is very insensitive of them since I had no idea that I would need to cancel greater than 14 days.

Nicer than other options

Nice campground. WiFi worked most of the time. Pools are nice. A lot of rules that seemed to be pointless. Must be in tube in lazy river even my 4 year old must be in the hole, couldn t be in lap. Be aware that beach has ordinance on shade. Must use umbrella less than 7 . They have rules on what an umbrella is. My 36 fifth wheel was hanging out of both ends of site 2132. Tree kept truck cab mostly shaded through the day. Short walk to ocean. Not sure if would come back. But is better than other 2 within a mile.

The only place to vacation
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
I have been vacationing here since I was a baby. Now I bring my wife and kids here. This place has everything really no need to ever leave the campground even though you have to to get the Myrtle Beach experience. Highly recommended wouldn t stay anywhere else!!!

Favorite at the beach
By user-4739683... on 2019-08-09.
First time we stayed here we didn t think we would like it but we did. We ve been back every year since, sometimes more than once. Full of people. Golf carts abound but it so huge you really need one or a bicycle. Although Myrtle Beach is a tourist town we rarely ever leave the campground. It has everything you need

Big

Stayed 2019-05-21 to 2019-05-24
This CG is like a small city, by far the biggest we've ever stayed in. Lots to do, we're in section HH and love being close to the beach and pools. Utilities work great. We rented a golf cart, when you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Beautiful beach, really nice pools. Very kid friendly. A couple of constructive criticisms. The young clerk checking us in was unable to answer the most basic questions about the park, the road to our site was narrow making it difficult to maneuver, the previous occupant left their used latex glove on the ground (for $96/night, can't they at least do us the courtesy of policing and picking up the sites?) and the site was far from level, the rear sloped down which is really bad for motorhome. Still, all in all everything else was positive and we would come back.

Don't want to leave
By user-5938895... on 2019-08-09.
So leveling was a pain, probably the worst we've encountered. That being the only grip, we truly love this place. The kids have a blast, from the beach to the water park, to the golf cart rides. Yes it's huge, yes they pack em like sardines, but everyone jumps to help. I drive a 42 5ver, so things will be tight, but sites being pull thru helps. Been here the last 2 years, already looking forward to the next.

Ultimate fun family vacation
By user-4674632... on 2019-08-09.
Boring loners need not come, if you like fun in the sun this is it. Lots of daily activities, cruise golf carts at night and enjoy the water park in season. This is our happy place!

Overwhelming
By user-6258487... on 2019-08-09.
This is a huge resort. We stayed the weekend before July 4th. Very hot and busy. Huge water park and nice pools. The beach is beautiful.
I have never seen so many golf carts. They have residential homes, permanent sites and rentals along with the regular campsites.
There is a golf cruise each evening and many decorated carts. It is like a city with campsites.
