We found this park to be a nice place to stop for some NCAA action. Easy access and all the amenities we need. I just think that you can't please some people.

The park, to say the least is a bit run down. Owner is friendly but the guide who showed us were to park our RV was flat rude. Yelled at us because we were parking in the wrong site. It seems they repeat numbers here so if you are assigned say, site 8, they are two of them. One will be green 8 and the other yellow 8. Questioning her mad her madder still. Site was somewhat level but connection were one of the best I have seen. No shade, and priced around $31 makes this okay, but not a favorite!

We pulled in late and left in the morning. Who can complain about a place that has a sweet owner and free muffins and coffee in the am?? We were headed to the painted desert and petrified forest which was about 10 min away. (Loved that national park!!) All gravel sites and not much grass or scenery but it was a nice stay with friendly people !!

Great place. Flat, extra large pull thru spots, general store, clean showers, and VERY CLEAN. Close to some stores and eating places within walking distance.

We stayed here 2 nights while we visited Petrified Forest National Park. Nothing fancy, but nice big pull-thru sites, and very friendly and helpful staff. Right off I-40 but far enough away to not have traffic noise. Wi-fi was decent. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

We were looking for one night before the petrified forest. This was an excellent choice. Friendly, helpful checkin, a nice long space with full hookups. Something I'd never seen before, there were sanitation hookups every ten feet. A site will have a half a dozen which makes it very easy to access sewer. Easy to find, clean and well kept. The morning we left the tree trimmer was bust doing his thing b We would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed for two nights at OK RV Park in our 40’ fifth wheel. We had made reservations for a pull-through site several days in advance and were assigned to site Red-0. When I checked in, I was told that they rarely use that site and we soon discovered why. Although the gravel site was quite long, the electric hookup was near the front so we needed to pull all the way up. This put us right next door to our neighbor who was facing the other direction. That meant that our doors were only a few feet apart and we shared a common concrete pad and picnic table. I was told that, when we left, we should move the rope that served as the fence for the property and drive down a dirt road. I discovered that the dirt road had major ruts in it so we opted to back out of our site, rather than pull through. The campground had cable TV with 50 channels. However, we were expected to use the coax cable provided by the campground. I tried repeatedly to adhere to the rules which said “Please do not detach our cable” and “Do not remove or replace cables” but the cable didn’t work despite numerous attempts to AutoProgram. The cable ran under the ground to a splitter bar at the neighbor’s site. I went to the office to report the problem and the girl said she would be down to help me as soon as she’d checked in an RV that had just arrived. Two hours later, when she had not arrived and the office was closed, I took matters into my own hands and hooked up my own coax cable to the splitter bar and the cable TV worked great. The campground brochure actually says “If you need help, ask within 2 hours of arrival” so maybe the lack of support was the result of my untimely complaint but I’ve never seen such a strange policy. As noted in other reviews, the trains run constantly throughout the night with horns blowing so sleeping with the windows open was impossible. I suspect that other sites at this campground might not have all these problems but we will not return.

This is our 2nd time staying here on our way east. Everything works fine including the wifi and cable. If you have Good Sam, you get a discount. Sites are roomy enough, with one RV headed one way, your neighbor will head in opposite direction. Wish more places did this as it allows for more privacy. Muffins in am? Oops, we didn't know that but will definitely see what tomorrow brings! Traveling in 33 ft fiver w/3 slides--no problemo! If fancy resorts aren't your thing, this place should work just fine.

For an overnight sights were long and generous. Best Wi Fi connection. They have 3 boosters so you don't lose connection. Bathrooms are ok. Not amazing but fine.

Traveling thru Arizona and its desert landscape, this park was off #I-40 which made it convenient. We were placed way in the back of the facility that mostly consists of full-timers. It was fine for one night! (nd)

Stayed the night on our way to California Full hook ups staggered parking for privacy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary muffins and coffee in the mornings before you leave. We were in 40 ft motorhome with tow car.

good water pressure in showers. Fairly clean. Could stand to be upgraded.
By user-5619954... on 2017-10-23.
Convenient to town services and Petrified Forest National Park. However, this campground is in need of some serious updating. Bathrooms, while clean, are dilapidated. Long, level gravel pull-thru FHU sites. Dirt patio shared with neighbor. No shade, and it gets HOT here! Cable poor with snowy picture. We stayed 9/25/15 in a 37-ft fifth wheel.

Large level sites that can be confusing if not directed by office staff. Showers were clean. Sites were level and we had plenty of room for awning and there was a picnic table at each site. There was coffee and muffins each morning in the office. There was no highway noise at all and it was easy to find. We went to Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert and Meteor Crater while here. Drove route 66 to Winslow AZ and Joseph City to see the Giant Rabbit.

Close to petrified forest. Pull thru sites. Wi-FI is weak. Full hookups 50 amp with easy Elec, water and sewer connections. Friendly managers .... muffins and coffee in am is a nice touch. Will stop again

On a slow run north. Very friendly staff, good site, level and large pull through. Wifi and cable channels were excellent. Would not hesitate to stay a night here again. Nice that they offer muffins and coffee too.

The place is run down and tired. There are abandoned structures that need to be removed. The sites are not very level, and they are narrow and stacked up. We would not stay there again.
By user-5249617... on 2017-10-23.
So. Yes it is run down. Peeling paint in the bathrooms and all. But the staff is so nice and the price is good and includes all hook ups etc. Everyone is so friendly and kind! And they have muffins and coffee in the office every day. They are dog friendly but 3 dog limit, no outdoor fencing crates or tie outs. No dog run. And they ban pet hair in the laundry facilities.

This is a nothing place. Gravel uneven spots. Do not wash your windshield, it's not allowed.

Stayed for a couple of days while visiting the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest NP. The lady at check in was quite friendly and informative about the area. We were escorted to our spot and she made certain we could level up (no problem) and pointed out the utilities. This was the first RV park I have seen with the cable TV wire ready for use. The laundry was large and clean.

All dirt everywhere. No grass anywhere for the dogs. Sorry important for my dogs. Spaces are too close. Cable sucks as the sound is really bad even when I used my own cable. Just not a pleasant stay. Will not return!. Too bad!

These spacious level gravel lots have concrete patios, cable TV, strong wifi and full hookups. Nothing fancy but good basic RV hookup facilities. We’d stop here again. Friendly office plus coffee and muffins every morning.

Off the highway but close to town. Huge spaces. No grass but big level sites. Definitely will be back. Best WiFi ever!!!

Big lot. Staggered sites. Long pull thrus. Only stayed overnight 1 night. Seemed to be a lot of traffic going thru the park, late. A lot of full timers. School bus comes thru in the morning. Has cable, but was fuzzy. WiFi was pretty good. Staff was nice. Rock drive, slab patio, but don t park on it.

Pro - Just off I-40 yet quiet, close to stores/restaurants/fuel, friendly staff. Good stop to visit the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert. Clean laundry & clean bath house with large private showers. Free coffee & muffins every morning in the office. Picnic table at each site. RV supplies sold in office. Our site was a pull thru with the (2) sites next to us running in the opposite direction. Made for a long site for parking vehicles Delta - Wi-fi was really slow and wouldn't work at times. Park is dirt & stone; when the wind blows there is a lot of dust. Can be close to your neighbor. We did hear a train way off in the distance once in awhile. The park had cable TV, but we used our dish. We would stay here again if in this area

This is a no frills park with all you could want. Have stayed here three times as we travel through Holbrook. Looks like new management due to the up grades and organization that are now in place. Highly recommend this park. Would have gotten a 5 stars if it had a view.

The park has big long level parking spots which make it easy to get in and out. The restrooms, showers and laundry area are clean and well maintained. The whole park is dirt, not gravel - dirt. We have dogs which makes for dirty dogs and dirty RV. There are a few concrete pads, so my advice to dog owners - ask for a spot close to the dog walk area and ask for a concrete pad. I didn t realize when I checked in that we were so far from the dog walk area, or that we were given a spot without co concrete which would have cut down on some of the dirt being tracked in.

This is a great park to stay at. We rolled in at about 9PM and found a spot. A very nice woman came out and helped guide us on getting setup. Very quiet place. The office had really good muffins free! I would definitely stay here again.
