Stayed during a snow storm.
By user-5176164479926272 on 2017-10-23.
This is a really nice park, level lots and lots of bathrooms. It snowed about eight inches while I stayed there and they had the majority of the snow removed before lunch and spent the next few days making sure it was safe to walk and drive around the park. It was during the off season when I used the park, and the spots are close together, so during the peak season I hope you like being right on top of your neighbors.

OK if you don't plan to hang out at your site

Lots of silly rules that aren't enforced anyway, which is one of my pet peeves. There is a dog fenced area, but it is not on the info they give you. I found it by hearing about it. We had a 30 foot motorhome and a Smart car, so there was plenty of room length wise, but the sites are narrow. Yes, there is grass, but apparently you can't use it because of the rules (vague and hard to enforce). Yes, there are trees. It's just hard to feel openness with the slide of the person next door over your picnic table. A bit of noise from the highway, but that doesn't bother me. We like to put a dog fence around the stairs so they feel like they can come and go, but that's not allowed either. Come on, plant some sturdy grass and let me use it. Geez.

Nice park

Very nice park with good pool and super playground for the kids. Pleasant staff. Tight spots but extremely level. No dog park, but lots of doggie baggies and receptacles. Clean restrooms and showers. Noisy freeway 215. No issue with nearby refineries. Easy on and off to get to attractions down in SLC.

Pony Express RV Park

This park is only about 5 miles N of downtown (we stay at the KOA downtown when visting that area) but this park is an excellent, very new, RV park in the SLC area. The sites are perfect, flat, wide, concret sites with not a tree in site. Might not be the best mid-Summer location unless all of your A/C units are working very well.
Other than this, I really cannot find a single thing bad to say about this park.

Nicely laid out park

All the amenities you need including a fenced in dog run. A place we'd be glad to visit again.

Best RV Camping near SLC
By user-5811304946204672 on 2017-10-23.
We have stayed here on numerous occasions heading north or south to/from our home in Idaho. A very nicely laid out park with very clean and private restrooms/showers. One of our top 10 parks to camp.

Probably best park in SLC?
By user-5593353053798400 on 2017-10-23.
We've stayed here several times in the last few years since our son and his family live nearby.
Pros - very clean, good power and water pressure, gated, reasonable drive to downtown, cookies upon arrival. Very easy freeway access.
Cons - if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, there is a terrible odor. No fenced dog run. Mosquitos. Tight spots. Odd layout for some RVS with the sewer connection at the rear of the lot which requires 20-25 feet of sewer hose.

Great place
By user-5785254787284992 on 2017-10-23.
This really is a great place to stay. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I am traveling with my aunt and disabled uncle. They were even willing to come to our trailer and pick him up and give him a ride to the showers. The park is very clean. The spaces could be a bit bigger but we're fine. The only really bad thing I could say would be about the showers. They were extremely hot inside, the one I was in had no place for me to put my clothes, only had hooks. But the water pressure is awesome. I would highly recommend this place.

Good place to stop
By user-5286836442759168 on 2017-10-23.
Easy access from I15 via 215 airport exit.
Well laid out, good space between the sites, level concrete pads, far enough away from the hwy to where the noise is minimal. Good dog park and nice playground for kids. Gated access, well lite at night. RV service available next door.
We stayed here in a 43' mh with a toad in a 60' space and had plenty of room.

Great Place
By user-5883140410179584 on 2017-10-23.
Paved pads, grass in-between and small shade trees. Showers are hit with plenty if water and Wi-Fi is strong enough to download (but not to stream) we bad a slight sewer smell around us , that proba ly was due to a campers hose not being air tight, and the close xway was a little nosiy with Windows open. But over all a very nice place.

Nice place
By user-6112160867418112 on 2017-10-23.
Very nice place with friendly staff. Has all the amenities. However it's like one big parking lot and not many trees. Nice scenery with the mountains. Sewage dump on each individual campsite is at the very end of the lot where for sewage hoses cannot reach so you need to go buy more sewage hoses.

Almost good

Great facilities. Two minuses:
They put everyone on the side closest to the highway and it's noise.
The wifi was abysmal. Spent a half hour with a tengo tech trying to connect before. Thankfully I am on vacation but I choose the site and pay extra for Wifi so be warned if this is essential for you.

Big Park
By user-5872684626870272 on 2017-10-23.

PRO: All sites are concrete with grassy areas between. I was given (site 22) pull-thru with plenty of room for my 42' 5th wheel and truck. Park is really nice and well kept. Great Wi-fi and open to use your dish. Would stay here again for sure.
CON: Traffic noise from the HWY.

Neat and clean
By user-5794955145510912 on 2017-10-23.
Level concrete sites w/ small grass lawns. Gated entry. One of the nicest parks we've ever stayed. Had knee replacement in SLC so we stayed here for 2 months until I could drive again.

Convenient location north of SLC, although it's in an industrial area so don't expect stores or restaurants. Only 10 minutes to downtown and easy access to the freeway. The park is very clean and orderly with concrete pads and grass between each site. We didn't notice the highway noise. It's definitely the nicest park close to SLC.

Nice park overall

Laundry facilities are not big enough for the amount of spots. If you stay here be careful of the power connections. We had a 100 degree day and my power was resetting every 15 minutes. They sent the park maintenance guy over and when I told him that I was getting 105 and 107 on my lines, he tried to blow smoke up my rear about RV parks not the same as a house and that was a normal output and did nothing till late that evening after I had plugged into the plug on another spot! It is now working, but this could have really hurt my unit. I have been a full time camper now for 5 years and I know that 104 and lower will ruin your AC. Luckily I have a progressive monitor that saved me! The people parked next to me told me that this had been a problem at this site before (33B)! The rest of the stay has been great! Very well laid out park. Nice and quiet! One other thing, be ready to have a 40 foot run for electric and about 30 foot for waste water!

Nice park for a stop over location. I don't think I would stay here for an extended period. Layed out like it used to be a trailer park that has been converted to an RV park. Sites are concrete and level with a picnic bench, power, and some grass. Close to the freeway so a fair amount of road noise. Very nice clubhouse, pool, and shower. Very nice staff.

Nice enough on the surface....but wait...

Stayed 2018-05-08 to 2018-05-12
Nice enough place on the surface, as you arrive, but after a while.....you realize it is next to the freeway in a very industrial part of SLC, so there is heavy truck noise night and day, and since it is right at an intersection, lots of braking and acceleration of big trucks. Then there is the Moto-cross track next door, where motorcycle daredevils try to jump obstacles, climb hills and make lots and lots of noise, particularly on weekends. Then when you get to your spot, you will realize there is NO space to park your tow vehicle and you MUST park it at the ends of the rows, big park, long walk. Then you park and realize your picnic dinner will be right on top of your neighbor’s sewer hookup, not good. Very, very tight spots. Then, if you are lucky, you get to meet the rude park staff, who have a lot of rules to explain to you, because you thought you were enjoying the day, but they want to disturb you and enforce their many rules.
Will not be going back, too e pensive, too noisy, too crowded and too many rules.
$50 per day for a 25’ RV.

This was a nice place. It was clean and staff was friendly. It is a bit always (15 min) from Salt Lake but for the price it was good. Site length was good. Would come Back again.
