We made and paid for a reservation ahead of time only to be told when we arrived that they had changed our site to an entirely different site in a different campground in the park without consulting us because the reservation on our chosen site before us decided to stay longer or messed up their reservation or something. This is not my fault, they need to move sites. We had a confirmed reservation. They hand out a sheet with the paperwork you receive upon arrival stating they keep the sites clean and asking for your help with maintaining this by not putting garbage in the fire pits. When we arrived on our designated site there were multiple pieces of garbage lying around. Not very welcoming. And to top everything off, we had traveled a very long day to arrive at this park and were looking forward to a quiet, peaceful evening. What we got was loud disruptive noisy music playing at the community building just up from our site. We were not informed about this nor consulted as to whether this was acceptable to us. Overall a very disappointing experience.
Likely the nicest provincial park i've stayed in, beautiful very clean and well kept. Will return for sure.
