This is not the place to stay
By user-541019 on 2017-10-23.
sites are ridiculously small so small we could not even open the slide ( we only have slides on one side) and we were still close to the unit on our right sites are probably only 15 to 20 feet wide. no pads and narrow roads.

Works For Me

Close to I-95. Sites are a little small but fine for the overnight stay. Plenty of room to open the slide and awning. Good stopping point for the trip to FL and will use it again on future trips. One of the employees directed us to a good little seafood restaurant. Fish Tales - about 5 miles from the campground. Good shrimp and nice atmosphere. Can't wait to return.

3 night stay
By user-5848221... on 2017-10-23.
Very nice campground. Had a large pull thru site, clean bath house and friendly staff. Just off 95 and easy to get in and out of. Really enjoyed touring Savanah and the trolley tours will pick you up at the campground. No complaints here, good WiFi and cable tv.

Nice distance to/from Fort Wilderness. Steamers is a great seafood/beef place to eat close by.
Bath rooms clean. Staff will escort you to your site.

Nice Lake and Pines
By user-5904408... on 2017-10-23.
Tip: With a copy of the park map open call the office. Tell them the size of your RV and what you are looking for. We agree there are some tight sites but many nice ones too. Also a couple excellent tent sites near the showers and office.

Terrific to be close to I-95 and yet in peace and quiet. Thanks Rose for being so nice on the front desk. Staff directs you in ( big plus).

Great campground
By user-5316071... on 2017-10-23.
This campground is very well run. The staff are very helpful with getting set up. If you want to build a campfire, they'll bring a fire ring to your site. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. The bugs are a pain, as should be expected,so bring your bug spray. But, I would definitely stay here again. About a 30 min. drive from Savannah.

Good for a night

This is pretty much a standard KOA. It's very handy to I-95 and easy to get in and out. However, the spaces and roads are a bit snug for a large motorhome/fifth wheel. Since we were only here one night, we did not get to try out any amenities.

Nice park with a beautiful lake and many shaded sites. Helpful staff and nice facilities . Good WiFi and cable TV. Easy drive to downtown Savannah and local stores. Only two blocks from I-95. Would stay here again if in area. Stayed here in a 36’ Fifthwheel .

My first trip with my first travel trailer and I couldn't of asked for a better experience. Clean, well kept grounds, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of room to maneuver. Easy drive into Savannah and lots of stores and restaurants located minutes from the koa entrance. Would definitely stay again

Helping Hand from Tim.
By user-4648716... on 2019-08-09.
My husband were traveling from NH and our stop at the the Georgia state line rest area realized we were out of propane gas for the RV. We pulled into your KOA and our gas tanks were already filled. There was a loose connection without battery Tim the worker came out and assisted my husband through the whole thing Tim's boss allowed us to hook up to electricity to recharge the battery once the cables were tightened so kudos to all the workers at the KOA we will definitely stay here when we go threw Georgia.

Nice Park
By user-5286121... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed for two weeks. Park has short term sites, seasonal sites and villas around a pretty lake. Our pull thru site had a large tree that prevented use of the awning. Short term sites, except the patio sites, are narrow and gravel, level, and all hookups worked well. Good wifi. Medium sized dog park but lots of places to walk your pet in the park. Great staff, nice laundry, great store, clean washrooms. Close to I 95 so well used by overnight visits. Propane available. A nice base of operations to visit beautiful Savannah.
