Gravel level sites, views, clean, friendly and close to a town that requires exploring. Great for an overnight or longer stay. Will stop back on our way home. We stayed in a 5er toy hauler and had a pull thru site because we were just over nighting but next time will stay longer and take a back in.

Easy to get to off Hwy 16 - clean, neat and very dog friendly! Great fenced dog park - nice level sites- several hiking trails, which we didn't get a chance to try - multiple fishing ponds , didn't get to try those either but it makes for pleasant scenery! We will be back to visit for a longer stay next time

Beautiful and clean
By user-6057051... on 2017-10-23.
This is a beautiful campground. Everything is clean and updated. Even the picnic tables are new and clean. There are fishing ponds in the campground and they have fishing poles that the camper can borrow. We'll definitely be returning.
DON'T USE YOUR GPS. IT TAKES YOU TO A SAUSAGE COMPANY. Use the directions on their website.

Hidden gem. Very quiet to be so close to Milledgeville. Smallish but convenient bathhouse on the "A" side.

We stayed 3 nights. Very nice place. For a privately owned CG the sites are larger than expected - not jammed tightly together. Very clean and the check in person was efficient, friendly and helpful. Even the free WIFI worked. When the trees are leafed out I bet it really looks good as there are lots of trees scattered around. Dog park, walking trails and fish ponds. A shot drive to Milledgeville which is a really neat old town with lots of places to eat. You even get the onsite owners personal cell # for after hours if needed.

ETA - 7:30 PM ( full dark). Not to worry - I can handle it - I AM A MAN!
- On arrival, we were greeted, and escorted to our site.
- I had forgotten both my water hose and TV Coax (horrors) - - - Not to Worry - - - I had both in hand before I had completed leveling. (PS - not much was needed).
- Oh - did I mention - we were also handed 2, complete plates of Thanksgiving Dinner - - - AND - - - 4 pieces of pie.
We could not have been treated better by family!

Beautiful setting for this wonderful rv park. The owners were very nice and helpful. They had brochures and maps for everyone when checking in. This park is extremely clean. If you are near Milledgeville, Georgia and are looking for an RV Park come to Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground..you will not be disappointed.

This was a way Point on our trip home from Florida to avoid the congestion in Atlanta. First time here it is a great spot, with clean large level spots. The owners were friendly and helpful. Will make this a part of our trips south or just stay here. Great views.

Stayed here the past three nights. This place is awesome! Huge sites, beautiful surroundings and fantastic staff. Cutest little buildings for laundry, showers etc. They have an outdoor dog wash we used with warm water right outside the laundry room. We had to do an RV repair here and stayed longer than first anticipated so the staff offered to help, brought us some supplies to use and kept checking on us. We shared an Easter potluck with the staff and other campers that was very nice. Talk about true Southern hospitality. Would love to come again if we re in this part of the country.

I had a serious issue with my rig leaving it stranded in front of their office. They immediately began trouble shooting and helping me find resources to resolve my problem. No discouraging words, no pressure, just helpful and caring. I was VERY impressed. Plus, the site I eventually parked in was very spacious and spaced further apart from other campers than usual.

We were looking for a stop between Savannah and Nashville and happened across this place. I called when we were on our way and Tommy was very helpful getting us set up for our 4 night stay. We arrived after hours and he was even there to help us get backed in to our spot. Most of the sites are back in. We have a 40 foot motor home and didn t have any trouble getting backed in to our spot. We had full hook ups as well. The bath house was nice as well as the laundry facilities. Each bath house had an outdoor area with a station set up for a dog wash. We took advantage of the dog wash station while we were there which would be suitable for dogs of all sizes. The pool recently had a new liner installed and was very nice. It went all the was to 8 foot which you don t see much anymore. They had live music on Friday and Saturday night as well as serving hamburgers and hotdogs for the event. There were several ponds you could fish from. The office lenses out rods and you could buy bait there too. The office sold many different things such as RV necessities that you might have forgotten or may have broke. The only negative encounter we had during our staff was with an employee. My five year old was at the pool. I myself had told him to stay off the rope several times. The male employee drove by on a golf cart and on his way back stopped came into the pool area and said Who s kid is this? I told him mine. He said keep him off the ropes. It s not that I minded him telling me to keep him off the rope as it was the way he told me. Everyone at the pool agreed he could have went about it better. If we are ever in the area again we plan on staying. Also if you turn right out of the campground and drive a bit you will find a nice little town with lots to see and do.
