There is NOT a pool here, there is a YMCA next door but the pool closes at 6. Our grandkids were very dissappointed. Otherwise nice place. We requested a pull thru and they didn't tell its none were available.

Nice park. City water not great. Good bike trails. Had our between tires tire chalks stolen. Not gone from campsite more than 2 hours.

This place looks great from the highway, but is somewhat of a disappointment up close.
The grass is cut nice and the view is good from the sites on the river, but there are some potholes here and there.
SC is building two plants in town and many of the workers are living here. The highway is under construction and there is noise from the pile-drivers.
I chose to be back near the YMCA which has a huge yard and a little more elbow room, albeit partial hookup. The best FHU sites are at the other end. The poorly thought out dump station is in the far back corner with a tight corner squeeze.
Just FYI...the cards on the poles say, "Reserved Site" instead of "RESERVABLE Site", leading one to believe that the site is occupied. This place is jam packed during the season, so call ahead.
Cell service is good. Wi-fi is iffy. Good picnic tables and fire pits. No laundry. This CG is just okay but I will give it an extra star for offering FHU year-round and the location.
Hint: Freedom Dog park just a mile down the road.

Great value
By user-6196948... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed lot 87 electric only for $18. Also includes free wifi and cable. Lots of paved roadways to walk. Large trees give pleasant park look, even though 'in town'. No problems with potholes.

Great site #77 with w/50 amp/sewer for $25/night. View of the Missouri River. Office closes at 1800 hours. Register via box. We wrote a check.
Almost forgot . . . Also wifi and cable tv for that $25/night.

Great Stay!!
By user-5488363... on 2017-10-23.
Clean shower houses with plenty of hot water spread throughout the campground. Very quiet atmosphere, located right on the water. Close to McDonalds and Taco Bell. The staff are very friendly and helpful! The YMCA is right next door. We paid 30.00 for a pull through spot. We would definitely stay here again! They are also open year round, which is harder to find up here. We stayed in a 35' bumper pull.

Great Missouri River view

This is one of these RV parks that you hit on once in a while that gives you everything you're looking for. Level spots, large spots, plenty of room between neighbors, and the great view along the river. We were in spot number three which is about 50 yards from the Missouri River shorelines and parallel to the river. Not sure how the amenities on site are. We were here only for one night, but my impression is they run a very tight ship and I suspect everything is spotless here. This is one of those parks where I will definitely plan on returning. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because one I was not here long enough to experience the entire part 2. At approximately 4 AM until 4:25 AM the trains all start to pull out the crossed the river and blow their horns which can be annoying to many people, however I enjoy listening to the trains and I had no problem with it.

Nice park, good location

Nice community run RV park with full hook-ups including cable (excellent) and wifi (iffy). Sites have level paved pad. Sites are nicely spaced with view of the river.
There are trains, many of them. It was fine for us, but be aware you will hear train's whistles during the night.
Close to Sgt Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center and Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. FYI: many area attractions are not opened on Mondays in this community.

I needed an overnight stay and also needed a place with Wi-Fi to upload files I needed to be sent. While the Wi-Fi was slow it did work. Park was clean and seemed well-managed. The park sits on the bank of the Iowa River and it's pretty spacious. Certainly not picturesque. Reasonably priced for full hookup.

Quick overnight stop. Very friendly staff. Open year round. Easy to get in with our 33' trailer. Bathrooms didn't have soap because too many people have taken the cartridges.

Well run city park campground on the Missouri River. Staff is friendly and accommodating. We stayed during a swollen and rising river event. Our site ended up quite close to the rushing water. That added some excitement. We had good cell and satellite reception at site #3. Other areas have large trees that may affect satellite reception. Site was gravel and fairly level. Would definitely use again.

Nice campground in a urban setting

This campground offers many benefits. It has large pull through spaces, some with concrete patios but all have nice green spaces, picnic tables and fire rings. We had full hookups that were dependable and the pull through spaces were very long so there is plenty of room. Great spacing between sites as well so you don t feel cramped. Lots of big cottonwood and maple trees in the park provide nice shade but there are some with unobstructed view of the sky for satellite dishes. The cable TV service was good but the wifi was unstable and we had a difficult time connecting and loading data. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

this is a city park with reasonable rates, great ambience, good space between pads, good amenities, lots of trees and grass, great location in town but right on the banks of the Missouri River. park appears to be well managed. would definitely stay there again.

Nice place for overbite or while visiting area.

OK place to spend a few nights. They have water, 50 amps, and sewer in many of the sites. $35 for the full hookups WIFI and cable included. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. Biggest issue is that its next to the swimming pool and Y which were not available to the campers. Looks like there was some flooding this spring which they are still working to clean up. It is convenient to many of the area attraction and its right on the Missouri River, part of the Lewis and Clark experience.
