| Nice overnight!

Very nice and quiet campground, but poor wifi. That's why only 4 stars. That being said the spots all have a nice patio and fire ring. We only stopped for the night on our cross country trip back to Michigan. The price is extremely reasonable. We paid $20. The rest rooms are clean and well maintained. The host Dennis was very nice. There aren't really any shade trees, but they are planted. It's surrounded by corn fields. Also the sites are big if you have a big rig. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff! Nice rv sites, and city water hookup at all sites. We will be back! Overall a very pleasant experience!

Sawmill Campground is an oasis! Just a few miles outside of town - close enough for supplies but not much in traffic. Grassy level sites with full hookups. Trees and did I say grass? Friendliest campground we've ever been to. Price is very right. We've paid a lot more for a lot less. Family friendly but no playground. We definitely plan to stay here again and longer.

Mankato area RV parks are few, until we found Sawmill Campground. It is located immediately northwest of Mankato in North Mankato, just off of Hwy 14 at the Rockford Road exit and east a couple of miles on County Rd 41. The campground consists of mostly full hookup pull-through sites and a few back-in full hookup sites. The owner lives on site and is super friendly. . The sites are nicely spaced apart and are rock with grass surrounding. The area around the campground is all open farm ground, so no city traffic. It is in a rural setting across from the North Links Golf Course, so not a lot of traffic, but still close enough to town. Verizon signal is strong, local TV channels are strong and free WiFi. Rates are scaled for 30 amp or 50 amp and are totally reasonable. Give Denny a call when you are looking for a nice campground in the Mankato area.

Stayed for one week. Rained nearly all the time. Seasonsl camper next to us would come out of his camper and urinate by his truck. Will not recommend this place.

| Nice No Frills Park!

Visited here mid June 2018, with a 42 fifth wheel, and was in Site 13 (50amp/FHU) pull-thru site. The park consists of what appears to be 31 sites, of which 20 are pull-thru and 11 are back-ins all of which are 50/30amp/FHU. The RV park roads and the sites are gravel and include a picnic table and fire ring and most pull-thru sites seem to have a deck too. The pull-thru sites here are longer then average, close to 100 or so. Half of the park seems a little older and has more mature trees with nice shade, the other half not so much. The OTA television reception was acceptable and our AT&T cellular service was a little weak at most times. The park has a office and on site management. Daily rates ranged from $21.50 for back-ins, $23.50 for pull-thru. Amenities included restroom/shower building, laundry facilities and storm shelter. The park is located in a country setting, near a golf course, but not to far away from very thing important. We would definitely stay here again if in the Mankato area.

Whoever answered the phone whe we called was hostile and angry when simply asked if they had sites. They reported the campground full, however we'd driven by the night before (we were searching for a new site because high water was closing out current campground) and we saw plenty of open sites. Definitely look elsewhere.

Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. I just needed a place to spend the night and they said "come on over." Price was reasonable and the directions were spot on. It's a nice park, snuggled in corn fields, so a quiet place to stay. Small park, so not a bunch of kids running around. I'm very happy I stayed here.
