We stayed there found the park nice and clean found some of the staff not quite as friendly as maybe they should have been. The speed limit in the park is 10 miles per hour which is a good thing but if you happened to go just a little over you are reprimanded and not very nicely. They have a lovely dog park where you can take your fur baby off its leash. But if your furbaby should happen to have an accident before you get to the dog park and you were not prepared at the time you are reprimanded again. Even after you explain you were coming back to pick up anything your fur baby may have left. The sides are large and clean and very level , we did have Wi-Fi we did have cable TV not too many stations and the Wi-Fi was not too strong. The shade tree's are still very small but there are a lot of them the picnic tables are very small and need to be careful and how you sit on them because they will tip over. All in all it was a pleasant visit I just think that maybe the staff should work on some of their people skills.

Great new RV park!

This is a new RV park just a mile north of Fredericksburg on 87. They have taken 20 acres and created a wonderful park with mostly pull-through sites (85x35). A large green area in the center has a soccer field, children's playground, and an enclosed "leash-off" area for pets. The view of the surrounding Texas hills is awesome.
The swimming pool area and showers are very nice, too. Didn't use the laundry room, but it looks tip-top.
Plenty of room - you won't be disappointed.

Very nice park just outside Fredericksburg. Pads are gravel/decomposed granite. Level with decent space between units. Dog park is very nice.

Their first Rally
By user-5882586... on 2017-10-23.
Nice park the sites are nice and large
Rally hall is big enough for a large Rally but there is a 100.00 per day fee. Rally hall is very dimly lit, older generation Rally goers new a little more light. The walk from your site to the hall is upgrade and steps and ramp are quite steep
Cable TV is hard to pick up, Manager said we needed new TV. Both of ours are new.notebit is a new park and I'm confident they will work out the bugs

Thanksgiving break
By user-5299523... on 2018-03-14.
We had a nice visit during November 23-27. The management was friendly and we had no problems with my brother and his wife visiting us. Our dogs enjoyed the dog park and the park was clean and quiet. We used the cable TV and internet. No problems. We would visit again.

Under new ownership
By user-4983715... on 2018-03-14.
I have stayed here multiple times since I have a big rig that fits nicely here. Although I've had no issues with previous owners, many others have commented about unpleasant encounters. The park has been sold to a new owner and is under new management. The phone number has remained the same but the website listed is not valid. The new URL is http://thevineyardsrvpark.com. The park is fairly new and needs time to mature but the facilities are nice and new and it's convenient to downtown Fredericksburg. Give the new management a shot. I found them friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice park. It is now called The Vineyards RV Park. This park had a bad rap from the former owner but the new owners and managers are great. They are very friendly and accommodating. WiFi works great and sites are plenty wide. We will definitely stay here again.

New owners are doing it right

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in April and loved it. The gravel spots are level and meticulously raked daily by staff. They have a good size dog run and we took advantage of the hot tub, which was very clean. Downtown is only 5 min drive.

Wide Open Park
By user-5872684... on 2018-05-17.
Arrived after the office was closed and we got our paper work and site number in the office mail box. I was given a gravel pull thru that was easy in/out with 50 Amp FHU. The site has a small concrete pad w/picnic table. The sites are plenty long and wide enough. It is a big park that is in the open, so we used our dish. The wifi worked well and I didn't have to go far for the trash. The park looks well kept. The showers and laundry are spotless. I would stop here again.

We stopped here for one night on the way from Houston to New Mexico. We had a nice, quiet pull through spot. It was level with good connections. Overall a good place to stay for one night. Easy to get in and out of. We will probably stay here again.

Great place to stay. Only been open 5 years. Nice level pull through sand back in. We backed in with no problem. Bathrooms and showers clean and well kept. Staff concerned about your needs and helping you. Uber was available here. If set out, will pick up trash and fill propane tanks. Short drive to Fredericksburg where there is a Pacific WWII museum as this is the home of Chester Nimitz a U.S. Navy fleet admiral and Commander in Chief of the Pacific Fleet during WWII. There are also many wineries to visit in the area. Would like to go back and spend more time in Fredericksburg and would definitely stay here.

Great stay
By user-4853731... on 2019-08-09.
Came for the annual Crawfish Festival in town. We found this to be a great place to stay when you have a lot planned.
Hookups are conveniently placed and the pull though is very level. I didn t need any side to side leveling. The pool is nice. The bathrooms and showers are comfortable to use.
