The good, the bad, and the windy

We were excited to end a National Parks tour here for a couple of days of lake time. The setting itself is gorgeous, and our site (on the B loop) had a nice partial view of the lake. I appreciated that the sites are spaced further apart than other RV parks we've visited, and although there are very few trees, they've landscaped with brush so that you feel like you have some privacy from your neighbors. This was my favorite aspect of this RV park.
Our metal picnic table was bent so we couldn't use it. And the promised shuttle bus, which we'd hoped to use to the marina, was not running that day, and the employees didn't have a good explanation or any apology for this. Everything is super spread out here - it would be a very long walk to the beach (we drove to the beach parking lot, and even from the lot it's quite a hike when laden down with beach gear). The marina is also probably too far to walk. No pool, and you can't use the pool at the hotel part of the resort, even though I've read elsewhere that you can.
Camp store is just OK, they were out of many of the things we needed (I can't believe they don't have aloe or any sort of sunburn relief!). There's a fee for showers, which is crappy considering we paid nearly $50 a night. We didn't use the bathrooms but my husband did and said they were fine.
A warning to other firstime visitors (and this is obviously no fault of the RV Park's) - this place is very hot, very bright, and very windy! I brought my paddleboard but it was too windy to use it safely, and we also rented kayaks at Antelope Point marina, and it was such a struggled to paddle against the wind that it ceased to be fun. We also got serious sunburns even with sunscreen! I wonder if it is windy all the time, or only certain times of the year... we definitely want to come back!

Great grounds great staff
By user-5793224... on 2017-10-23.
We had a simple site w no power or water. Views were amazing. Toilet blocks clean. Staff at reception were knowledgeable and helpful. But stay away from the Grille restaurant at the resort. Awful food. Run screaming in fact. Blah. But everything to do with the RV park is great. Except maybe price $30 to get into national park and $30 for a site. As an overseas person I loved it

Scenery but...
By user-6061814... on 2017-10-23.
It is beautiful here but one needs to know there is a $15 park entry fee on top of the $44 after AAA discount charge for a full service pull through. Showers are $2.00 in quarters (really?!?!) and WiFi not present though I am about 100ft from the reg building

When we arrived we were blown away by this park. There is a lot of space between the sites. The lake views are breath-taking. This is one of the nicest places we've stayed and we wouldn't hesitate to come back. We were disappointed with the Verizon data coverage here, but the area is still fairly remote so it's hard to complain. The free wifi works okay some of the time, it's a pretty busy place to expect much performance on that side of things. I ended up working a bit at the McDonalds on 89 in Page. They had wifi but Verizon 4G also works in that part of town.

I stayed in the full hookup section. Clean, level, everything worked, great views. Reservation folks on the phone were super helpful. I reserved on the road and when I got there I had been given an end spot with a lake view. I wish I could have stayed longer.

What a beautiful park
By user-4823144... on 2017-10-23.
Everything about this campground was wonderful. Large sites spaced far enough apart you didn't worry about your neighbors. Wished we had had more time stay just so we could enjoy the campground. Did have two lovely evenings sitting out watching the stars come out. Truly a great place to plan a visit.

number one in our list
By user-6258656... on 2017-10-23.
well, this is the best. clean, big, great location. we could have stayed there for months.
one little advice: do not take the tour boat that they offer unless you are 70 years and up.
it was horrible!! instead, rent a speedboat and enjoy the lake.
the park is on the beach and the place is amazing. do not miss this spot.

Beautiful, but HOT!
By user-4615451... on 2017-10-23.
Limited full hook ups, but many tent sites accommodate RV /TT as dry camping on gravel pad. Onsite dump station. Camp store has a little bit of everything. Don't leave your awning up unattended, the wind picks up here all hours of the day. Limited to no shade. $25 entrance fee for the recreation park( good for 7 days), then non electric site was $26 per night.

This was one of the nicer RV parks we’ve stayed in

We stayed 11 nights and had a beautiful spot overlooking Lake Powell. Great level cement pad, fire pit and nice picnic table. Some shade trees, but noting to interfere with satellite reception. The Wi-Fi was very slow and the reception wasn’t that great. They recycled 100% here which is great. When we were there in late March it was quiet, only a few boats and campers were around.
This is among the nicer RV parks we’ve stayed in. Definitely would stay again!
Update April 29, 2016 – We returned again for 3 nights this time (wish it could have been longer). Had another perfect very wide spot overlooking the lake. The Wi-Fi has not improved, still very slow. And for us with T-Mobile, we don’t have data here (strong phone signal though) for our Hot Spot to work. Lots of activities here, from tours to hiking to boating. Also good services in town. All-in-all, a great place!

Price was a bit high but it was very clean. Cement parking pads. Electric was 121volts at 3 in the afternoon with a temp near 100 deg. Great views. Very quiet. Fee includes use of pool at the resort. I stay again.

Be careful
By user-5829173... on 2017-10-23.
No pool !!!
When you check RV Parky it has the pool signal, but in fact there is no pool at the RV site. Only at the lodge resort.
Of course we went there but this is only for the lodge guest.
Nevertheless stunning views especially at the resort restaurant.
Do recommend this site.

The view across Lake Powell from our FHU site was spectacular. We'll camp here again if we're in the area. The loop roads are easy to navigate and the sites are spacious and the campground is probably the cleanest we're seen. The people at check-in were friendly and courteous.

Page, AZ – Wahweap Marina & RV in Glen Canyon Recreation Area
We stayed here for 11 days in early May 2018. It was a beautiful campground with incredible views! We had FHU with 50 amp, picnic table, fire pit and grill. Our cement pad was very level. As suggested by someone who had stayed there we requested, and got, a double-wide site, which they had available and it worked out quite nicely. There was WiFi at the visitor center and we could use it a few times from our site as we were close but it was unreliable. Verizon cell service was very sketchy. No cable and OTA TV was non-existent for us. The price was a bit high but we reserved a site with advance purchase/no refund making the cost approximately $45/day. We were in site F-9.

This campground is located perfectly for visiting the sites in the local area. However, it is located inside the national recreation area and you must stop at the kiosk to gain entry. On a couple of occasions, this created a slight delay entering the park but not unbearable.
Sites were clean and well spaced. Bathroom in the B Loop was clean.
The store and registration workers were all very helpful and friendly. The store was overpriced but is expected for a Resort area. The town of Page is about 5 miles away and has everything a person would need. WiFi was available but pretty non existent in the B Loop.
