Nice level spots with grass and nice tall trees. Close to Bass lake which was pretty walk around. Easy to get to from I-70. All in all a nice place to camp!

Don’t go if your not Miltary

Did not realize that you have to be military to camp here. They were very nice about it but I did not learn about this until I tried to get on base.

Best Park I've been in in a while
By user-5771427... on 2017-10-23.
As the title suggests this is one of the best parks I've been in I've been from the east coast to the west coast people are friendly plenty of room pet friendly facilities are clean only drawback during the weekend you have to drive clean around the airfield to get off the base other than that this is a great place to stay definitely will be back

Great military RV park
By user-6436593... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed here for 4 days, great place. Clean and orderly. Laundry is conveniently between bathrooms with change machine and TV.
Its a bit out of the way, so is quiet. Would give it 5 stars if there was a kids playground of sorts.

Great campground
By user-5316071... on 2017-10-23.
What a pleasant surprise this place was! It is very well kept. The hosts are very proactive and attentive. It is apparent that they are trying to make this campground the best it can possibly be. I wish we had more time to spend here. The bath house is probably the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground: clean toilets, four clean showers with great pressure, laundry room. The only downside would be that they only have one toilet in the men's room. The grounds are well kept. They have a game room for kids at the main office and a lake with canoe and kayak rentals. The sites are concrete with full hookups available. It would be nice if there were a fire pit at each site, but I'm just nitpicking. The roads on base are a little confusing if you arrive on a weekend and some of the gates are closed. I recommend calling and asking for directions. If I ever make it this way again, I will not hesitate to stay here.

$25/night

Make sure you have a base map. It's road patterns aren't very easy to get around on base. The gate next to the campground was open Monday morning for us to leave but no entrance allowed. The gate on spruce way The air museum is a must. The campground is open, not a lot of shade trees. Awesome club house with free arcade game, pool table and tv.

Great Stop off.

Passing through. Called about and hour away to inquire if they had sites. They were full. 15 mins later they called me and said the had a cancellation and we could have the site. People are friendly and sites are clean. We loved the paved and concrete pads. Only downside was the gate access. It seemed very far away from the camp and I felt I was driving in areas I should not have been in. Glad it was after typical work hours. Appears to be nice amenities and a lake. We will come back for a longer stay in the area next time.

Great place to stay
By anonymous-user on 2018-07-06.
Spent 2 days in early May taking my son and grandson to the Air Force Museum. The Web site gives you the closest Gate to the camp. It is seldom open, the only gate that is always open is the main gate. Camp ground is tucked away far from anything else on base. Their web site gives the GPS coordinates to the camp. It was very quite and well maintained. Book ahead, it is very busy with long term campers. Your site will have your name posted on it. Will stay again if I'm in the area again.

Excellent camp spot. Pull thru's and back in's, many with FHU. On west side of base flightline and fairly quiet. Laundry facilities avail for a buck to wash and .50 to dry. Pet friendly. This isn't for the "camping experience," however this is a GREAT place to stop and visit the museum and other local attractions. BX, commissary and class 6 store all on the main base.
